Abby’s View Table: Whose F&FW Curvy Couch?

August 28, 2018

Now she’s gone. Who will rule the F&FW curvy couch? Yes, sadly, today, the sexy short-lived former queen of Fox & Friends Weekend, good girl Abby Huntsman Tweeted, “It’s official! Thrilled to return to where it all began for me …never dreamt back then I’d one day join @theviewabc table.” Now, the question is what lovely royal will be given Abby’s crown and scepter to reign on the F&FW curvy couch after her untimely abdication.

Probably, the hottest F&FW co-host was the comely Kiran Chetry; the naughtiest, perhaps, was Juliet Huddy (who always smilingly blushed when the blonde heard her show intro’d by Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy, saying, “Yes, the drapes match the rug”), and the strangest transmogrifying one, Alisyn Camerota, a sexy, smart gal who later “woke” to another whole new world–CNN.

Regrettably, the sexy, sharp Puerto Rican Five siren Kimberly Guilfoyle left FNC under some less than flattering accusations. And, strangely, the leggy lovely Nicole Petallides left her FBN:AM fans without an explanation but, happily, she still graces the screen as a reporter for FBN. Molly Line seems to be a possibility since she seems to be getting more air time on FNC on shows such as Outnumbered as of late: Formerly, she oft guest co-hosted F&FW when the suits were seemingly trying to transition Aly out–without success.

So, who should be the next F&FW queen? If it were up to the author, FNC would bring back Nepalese goddess Kiran Chetry: The former F&FW & America Morning co-host has the killer looks, personality, and smarts to arouse her F&FW fans to a fabulous morning. (She’s done her time, and she has been loyal to the network and her fans.) If not Kiran, Nicole would be awesome on the curvy couch as the brainy, famously leggy Greek beauty who will waken F&FW viewers with a jolt of pulchritudinous femme fatale java.

Nevertheless, the author believes that the odds favor Rachel Campos-Duffy who has begun to occupy the center seat lately on both Fox & Friends and Fox & Friends Weekend. She’s a lovely lady who came to the public’s consciousness as a cast member on MTV’s The Real World: San Francisco before becoming a regular guest co-host of The View–and she’s the wife of Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI). Like former F&FW co-anchor Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Survivor contestant (the predecessor of Anna Kooiman, who was the predecessor of Abby), Rachel starred in her own reality series and she has political connections like Abby Huntsman (whose dad is the current Ambassador to Russia).

Stay tuned.

O’Reilly Out: Carlson In

April 20, 2017

Five replaces Carlson; Bolling replaces Five; and Watters replaces Bolling. Yesterday, FNC honcho Rupert Murdoch “caved”: Joined his boys James and Lachlan in dethroning the King of Cable Bill O’Reilly (statement)–while O’Reilly was on vacation. And, O’Reilly did not get the last word on his once eponymous show last night newly named simply The Factor.

Rather, The Factor fill-in host Dana Perino solemnly declared, “Finally, tonight, it is the end of an era here at the Fox News Channel….Bill O’Reilly is leaving this chair and this network after more than twenty years. Bill has been the undisputed king of cable news, and for good reason: He is an incredibly talented broadcaster who raised the bar for interviewers everywhere; he has also held his staff to exacting standards in his quest to put the best possible program on the air and they are great; and you his audience responded in record numbers making The Factor the number one cable news show for more than sixteen years.” Trying to soften the blow to O’Reilly’s fans further, Dana declared, “In a memo to the staff today, Rupert, James, and Lachlan Murdoch who run Fox News described Bill this way, [saying], “By ratings standards, Bill O’Reilly is one of the most accomplished TV personalities in the history of cable news. In fact, his success by any measure is indisputable. We wish him the very best.”

Even though the Murdochs recently re-signed their FNC flagship anchor and top revenue generator to an 18-million-per-year contract, they decided to  jettison O’Reilly amid the continuing allegations of sexual harassment. According to the New York Times, Fox luminaries Rebecca Gomez (2011), Laurie Dhue (2016), and Juliet Huddy (2016) have received settlements: Furthermore, reportedly, erstwhile Outnumbered regular Andrea Tantaros‘s psychologist Michele Berdy said under oath that Andrea “complained to me about recurring unwanted advances from Bill O’Reilly.” To boot, the New York Daily News reported, “On the day before he [O’Reilly] was booted, a black colleague said a leering O’Reilly shamelessly ogled her cleavage and nicknamed her ‘Hot Chocolate.'”

Not amused, O’Reilly responded to his firing, saying, “It is tremendously disheartening that we [Fox News and O’Reilly] part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today. I will always look back on my time at Fox with great pride in the unprecedented success we achieved and with my deepest gratitude to all my dedicated viewers.” [For full statement, link here.]

As to O’Reilly’s dedicated viewers, they will now have “a new evening and prime time lineup” according to Fox News. As of Monday (April 24),  Tucker Carlson Tonight will replace the recently renamed O’Reilly Factor (to The Factor); The Five will follow with the usual cast of Kimberly Guilfoyle, Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, Juan Williams, and Bob Beckel with the addition of Jesse Watters to take Eric Bolling‘s middle chair (April 24); Bolling gets his own show in the old The Five slot at 5:00 p.m. ET (May 1).

Coaxing his own Tucker Carlson Tonight viewers to make the jump to the new time last night, Tucker concluded his show saying, “There is change coming to Fox News, the channel and to this program: Starting Monday, we are moving to 8 p.m. Eastern Time. You’ve made the journey with us from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: We hope you’ll come along once more and join us an hour earlier.” Graciously, he aptly added, “We’ve got big shoes to fill: We’re going to do our best.”

Indeed, Tucker does have big shoes to fill: Whether O’Reilly devotees will give Tucker that chance remains to be known. And, to whether FNC fans cotton to James and Lachlan’s kinder, gentler Fox News is another issue altogether: Their father Rupert had the Midas touch with his “Mad Men” mentality. Going PC may be FNC’s folly: Alchemy in reverse.

“Ringless” Huddy Returns

February 28, 2016

Proud cougar tamed again? Today, former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Juliet Huddy returned to the curvy couch, filling in for vacationing ski bunny Anna Kooiman. Looking like a school marm, she sported a navy uniform with a long-sleeved white jacket with black trim and a midi black skirt: And, the most provocative part of her garb was her black peep-toe shoes. But, fear not, the suddenly priggish Hoboken honey did offer her male admirers a little skin, i.e., her bare ring finger.

Gone from Juliet’s left hand was the engagement ring of Steven Wright, her “fiance.” To the long-time F&FW viewer, this fact should come as no surprise: The proud cougar seems to go through guys like Elizabeth Taylor went through husbands. Perhaps, the more the merrier.

For better or for worse, at least, Juliet keeps F&FW fans talking.

Elisabeth Out: Anna In?

January 3, 2016

Fox & Friends: A new year, a new blond beauty? Former Fox & Friends co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck has left the F&F building: Will F&F Weekend co-anchor Anna Kooiman take her place on the curvy couch? She certainly seems to have the edge. On the day after Elisabeth abdicated her F&F throne tearfully, Anna seized the queen’s center seat joyfully. Tomorrow, on the real first F&F day of year (after the holidays), Anna will reign anew on the curvy couch between Fox & Friends kings, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.

Whether Anna will be officially crowned the new queen of the Fox & Friends curvy couch remains to be seen. If she is so elevated, her vacancy on the F&FW throne may well be filled with blasts from the past. Just this weekend, former frequent F&FW guest co-anchor Molly Line made a rare appearance Saturday and erstwhile F&FW co-host Juliet Huddy seemed likewise to audition Sunday. However, whilom F&FW co-anchor Ainsley Earhardt would seem to be best positioned to regain her place on the F&FW curvy couch from her perch on the Fox & Friends First leg chairs after she returns from maternity leave.

Let the F&F fun begin!

Huddy: “Good Riddance”

January 2, 2016

Juliet: “I got a good one now!” Fox & Friends Weekend guest co-host Juliet Huddy returned to the curvy couch two days after Christmas 2015 with thoughts of one of her naughty boys–and her nice Mr. Wright [pic].

Introducing a segment subtitled, “Breaking ‘App’: New Apps Will Dump Significant Other for You” (during the holidays), Juliet stammered, “There’s a whole new little caveat to this si, sick holiday thing!”* Turning to Juliet, guest co-anchor Ed Henry chimed in, “You’re not dating the right guys!”

Chuckling, Juliet replied, “Well, I wasn’t, maybe.” Ed riposted, “You should make them pay for dinner.” Giving Ed the Heisman move, Juliet answered, “We don’t want even to go there. Trust me!”

Apparently, reassuring her current hubby, Mr. Wright (Steve), Juliet laughed, “I got a good one now!”

Contrasting her now nice guy with an earlier naughty flame, Juliet queried, “Have you ever been broken up with…through a text or something like that?” When Ed answered, “No!,” Juliet replied, “Well, I have been!”

Concluding the segment, the once slighted Juliet opined, “My theory is [that] if you are broken up with somebody via that way, then good riddance! Good riddance!”

Good news for Mr. Wright this holiday season: He was still on Juliet’s “nice” list!

Huddy’s Rough Return to F&FW

December 9, 2015

Juliet: “I’d like to keep my job but trust me if they could read my mind…” Yow! Guest Fox & Friends Weekend guest co-host Juliet Huddy had a rather frosty reception Sunday morning in her return to the curvy couch. Subbing for sweet, smart, and sexy Southern F&FW co-anchor Anna Kooiman, Juliet brought her usual snarky, snide–yet sexy–take to the table. And, it was not as well received by her audience as she might like.

Before the show began, Juliet Tweeted, “You’re welcome to wake up early today and check me out on Fox News 6-10 am! (Sans the Fox5 crew…). When F&FW did begin, co-hosts Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris welcomed her to the curvy couch: Joyfully, she responded, “Good to be back! Good to be back! Always good to be here!”

Alas, it was not to be.

During the show, Juliet oft cited her friends who had voted for the President twice and who said that they were tired of his saying what Islam is and what Islam wasn’t and of his talking about gun control and that they wanted to hear specifics about how he recognizes that the country is looking vulnerable. Some F&FW fans were not amused that “her friends” were Obama supporters and they assumed that she was as well. Of course, her support of the NSA may not have ingratiated her to them. [Re her sex life, Juliet racily chuckled, “Nobody cares what I’m doing with my boyfriend.”]*

Mid-show, Juliet seemed to have had it with her F&FW viewer critics. During an “Oval Office Address” discussion, Juliet declared, “Well, you know, I have to say as I was saying earlier, a couple of my friends who were Obama supporters, who voted for him.” Glaring at the camera, she sniped, “Yes, and I do have friends who voted for Obama!” Turning to Clayton, she snarled, “I’m getting lots of Tweets, little nasty Tweets!”

One sympathetic Tweep wrote, “Idiots woke up early today. We have your back, Juliet.”

In response, an angry Juliet exclaimed, “I’d like to keep my job but trust me if they could read my mind… (with angry devil emoji).”

As the final hour drew to a close, Juliet dug herself in deeper in the eyes of her critics when she seemed to go to bat for writer Linda Stasi of the the NY Daily News.* In discussing the latest  Daily News controversy, Tucker asked, “Why is that a certain sort of person looks at a terrorist shooting like this and immediately blames the victims, that is, normal Americans.”

Putting her hand up as in protest, Juliet remarked, “I didn’t take it, I didn’t it as she was blaming this guy.” As Tucker guffawed in derision, Juliet continued, “Hold on! Here’s what I took it as. I, I felt like she was saying, ‘This guy was so kind of  extreme in his views, and he was always kind of talking about them. He was always just spewing them out there that, maybe, this was something that raised the ire of this psychopath that ended up going and killing people.”

Chiming in aptly, Clayton replied, “But, but, wait! But, but, no, the point is she says “thirteen innocent” victims have died. So, she made a point to say that she’s not innocent.”

Finally, coming to her senses, Juliet answered, “Not innocent which is, which is I think you and I have a problem. I agree.”

Huddy Replaces M.I.A. Kooiman?

November 22, 2015

Not quite: But, to paraphrase President Obama, she’ll do–at least, for today. Yesterday, Outnumbered co-host Sandra Smith subbed for Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Anna Kooiman: But, the priggish, lovely L.S.U. tomboy certainly was no threat to the sexy, vivacious Anna. Today, a more matronly, jaunty Juliet Huddy sat anew in her erstwhile seat on the F&FW curvy couch for the comely Kooiman: But, the Heboken honey in red with her priggish high neckline, low hemline, and elbow cuffs [Pic via J$] was assuredly no threat to the smart, sweet, sexy Southern belle, who happily flaunts her tanned, toned stems to her F&FW fans as she keeps them au courant.

Where was Anna who has been gone for the last two weekends? As to last weekend, the author fears that she and her co-host Clayton Morris were replaced for more seasoned journos in the aftermath of the Paris bombings (F&F Saturday, F&F Sunday). Re this weekend, Anna Tweeted (with pics), “Can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful bride over her wedding weekend! Congratulations cuzzzz!”

Hurry back, Anna! You are missed!

Anna On Honeymoon: “Very Salacious” Huddy Back!

September 19, 2015

Kooiman: “I’m going out with a bang!” And, Juliet is BACK with her own bang! Tuesday, Fox & Friends guest co-anchor Anna Kooiman revealed, “I leave for my honeymoon today! I’m going out with a bang!”* When co-host Steve Doocy queried where she would go, Anna exclaimed, “Italy and Austria!” And, in her place on the curvy couch today sat former F&FW co-host Juliet Huddy.

Even though it has been approximately a year and a half since Juliet graced the curvy couch, she seemed somewhat back in her element–even though Juliet awkwardly defended her friend View co-host Michelle Collins repeatedly for her snarky remark directed at Miss America contestant, Kelly Johnson (Miss Colorado), for her talent competition as to her life-saving work as an RN. Not to mention Collins reportedly impugning nurses reportedly saying, “Yeah, that’s not a real profession. They want to be doctors.”

To boot, Juliet let the guys and gals know that she was still her own licentious self even if she were dressed this morn more like a school marm than an FNC fox. In a “7 Things Every Man Should Know,” co-host Tucker Carlson read, “You [men] are more difficult to live with than you think you are.”** In response, Juliet declared, “It’s accurate: Yes, definitely! That’s why I think people should live with each other before they get married: But, that’s just my very salacious personality.” Pointedly, co-anchor Tucker Carlson replied to the thrice-married cougar, “And, studies yet do show that people who live together before they get married have a higher divorce rate”: As co-anchors Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris grinned, Juliet laughed, “Which makes a lot of sense!”

Youthful hottie Anna is gone for now: And, the F&FW boys get a blast from the past.

Kooiman Struts: Huddy Subs

April 14, 2014

Svelte “Boston Strong” Anna: I would love to hit 3:30. Toned and tanned, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Anna Kooiman is ready to “strut her stuff” as she runs the storied 26.2-mile run in Beantown on April 21. In a Tweet, the erstwhile AFAA-certified fitness instructor announced that not only will she run the 118th Boston Marathon but also she will cover it. When asked by her F&FW co-anchor Clayton Morris yesterday what her goal in time was, she replied, “I would love to hit 3:30 (three hours thirty minutes): Pulling her towhead tresses from her lambent orbs, she cooed, “My best time is 3:27:23 but I just don’t think I’ll get it.” As if any of her acolytes’ eyes will be on the time clock.*

Apparently, Anna will give her full concentration to the Boston Marathon next Monday and will hand over her spot on the curvy couch this weekend to the still sexy blonde from F&FW yesteryear, Juliet Huddy: A few weeks ago (March 27), Juliet Tweeted, “[I] will be anchoring Fox and Friends weekend of Apr 19th.”

Good luck, Anna! Welcome back, Juliet!

“Forgotten” Valentine Anna Returns

February 23, 2014

“Back from the Land Down Under!” Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Anna Kooiman returned from a Valentine’s Day vacation in Oz to the curvy couch yesterday after a two-week absence. As the show opened, co-host Tucker Carlson declared, “The long national nightmare is over: Anna Kooiman back on the curvy couch!” Pumping her fist, Anna exclaimed, “Back from the Land Down Under!”

Subsequently, the rested, bronzed blond beauty regaled Tucker and fellow co-anchor Clayton Morris with tales of her “24-hour” plane trip; her seeing bilbies, wallabies, and koala bears; and her discovering the fascinating fact the koala bears get “stoned” by eating eucalyptus leaves. Summing up her trip, she said, “It was cool!”

For F&FW fans of the toned towhead, it was assuredly a relief to see their Anna again. Over the last two weeks, F&F offered them nary a clue as to where she was. In fact, last week, Ann’s name was not even uttered as Juliet Huddy co-hosted F&FW both Saturday and Sunday: To make matters more confusing, Juliet did not acknowledge that she was filling in for Anna and introduced herself on the the hour both shows, simply saying, “I’m Juliet Huddy.”

However, during her absence, Anna let her Twitter followers and her Facebook friends in on her “secret” location. She happily shared photos of her frolicking on a rocky shore near Sydney, posing with a sleepy koala bear, and sipping champagne in ecstasy (with the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge reflecting from her sunglasses). Anna looked as if she were almost in heaven.

Welcome back, Anna!

[Author’s aside: Hmm. Flashback: “Anna the next F&F spring bride-to-be?” Cf. Carpe Diem‘s “Kooiman’s Kinky ‘White Wedding.'”]

Jerrick Plays Priapus With Huddy

February 16, 2014

Reddening, Juliet swats his faux phallus away. Former Fox & Friends Weekend co-hosts Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy were back in action on the curvy couch this morning. Filling in for Tucker Carlson and Anna Kooiman, respectively, the concupiscent couple were back to their usual naughty selves as they joined F&F regular anchor Clayton Morris anew for a Philly sandwich.

However, today, Mike took his priapic play with Juliet up a notch when he probably thought that the two of them were safely off camera. During an 111th American International Toy Fair toy preview segment, their guest displayed a retro toy called the “Bop Bag,” (a vertical, phallic-shaped punching bag that bounces back when pounded).* Bawdily, Mike intoned, “That’s what I call Juliet, ‘bop bag'” as Juliet chuckled. When the segment came to an end, Juliet teased upcoming stories as accompanying clips aired.

As Juliet’s intros ended, Mike briefly positioned the bop bag as if it were his erect phallus pointed salaciously toward Juliet’s kisser. Blushing, she batted her bad boy’s toy aside with the back of her hand, exclaiming, “Michael!” Shaking her head with a smile, she simply turned and wisely walked away.

[Author’s aside: Apt Priapus Mike flashback? In September 2007, HobokenNow.com noted, “Mike will jump at every opportunity to make a double entendre, while Juliet will sometimes squirm a little–or even visibly blush–when things get racy.” This was perfectly illustrated after the taping of their show [The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet], when Juliet said the word ‘p*nis’ on the air for the first time. ‘I never thought we’d get that “p*nis” out of her mouth,’ Mike quipped after the show.”]

Huddy Explains Her O’Reilly Absence

February 14, 2014

“I scared him.” Apparently, Fox 5 Good Day NY anchor Juliet Huddy‘s “hell” has frozen over. Less than four months after she was given a new segment entitled “Mad as Hell” on the O’Reilly Factor by its eponymous host Bill O’Reilly, Juliet explained why she is not on the Factor any more. When a fan asked her that very question (January 29), she Tweeted, “I scared him. :-)”

As Carpe Diem readers may well remember, Juliet was initially featured in O’Reilly’s Wednesday weekly “Did You See That?” After Heather Nauert replaced her on October 3 (2013) in that segment, Juliet was given a new weekly Thursday one, “Mad as Hell,” the very next day (Thursday): And, the following day (Friday), O’Reilly read a letter from one of Juliet’s fans saying, “Mr. O, if you discontinue the ‘Mad as Hell’ segment, I will be mad as hell.” Perhaps, tellingly, O’Reilly answered, “Alright, we’re gonna keep it…at least, for the time being.”

Subsequently, the author noted O’Reilly’s peculiar response: In his Carpe Diem‘s “Huddy’s ‘Hell’: To Freeze Over?,” the author remarked, “In [Roger] Ailes’ world…that ‘time being’ [can be] rather tenous–at best.” Unfortunately, for Juliet, that observation appears all too apt.

F&FW’s “Throwback Weekend”: Juliet & Mike Return!

December 28, 2013

Huddy’s Philly Sandwich: tasty but stale? Today, former F&FW co-hosts Juliet Huddy and Mike Jerrick returned to their old stomping grounds for a “Throwback Weekend” (as aptly described by F&FW meteorologist Janice Dean). To make things interesting, the concupiscent couple rejoined regular anchor Clayton Morris for a Yuletide romp on the curvy couch.

Yesterday morning, Juliet announced the big news of their reunion, Tweeting, “Oh my…lock up the kids… hosting @foxandfriends thos [sic] weekend w my old pal in crime @MikeFOX29 aka JERRICK! & @ClaytonMorris. Tune in!” For her fans the news was momentous: the leggy lovely had not been flanked by her “Philly guys” to make “a Philly sandwich” since August 2011 (if the author’s memory serves him correctly). And, if Clayton and Mike were right in 2011 about their saucy siren, perhaps, Juliet “needed help” again “with [her] plumbing.”

Consequently, when the author tuned in this morning to the “Throwback” fun, he half-expected the old F&FW opening of a blushing, beaming Juliet listening to blond beauty Jenny McCarthy bawdily declaring, “Yes, the carpet does match the drapes!” Instead, the oft profane Andrew Dice Clay tamely introduced Fox & Friends [Weekend]: Cutely coiffed Mika-style, Juliet reappeared this morning in the middle of her Philly boys as the lady in the red dress–demurely cut with a high neck, longer sleeves, and a midi hem. Not necessarily boding well for those expecting vintage Mike and Juliet.

When the show started in earnest subsequently, Mike turned to his long-time colleague, saying, “Oh! Hi, Juliet! Good to see you.” Eying her freshly shorn head impishly, he remarked, “I like the new hairdo!” Teasing her seemingly about her more mature mien all the more, he playfully displayed her reading glasses, jibing, “And, now you’re wearing glasses. I haven’t seen you in a while!”

Grabbing her spectacles from Mike’s hands and putting them back on the table,  a smiling Juliet jauntily riposted, “Oh, shut up! Get away from me.”

With arched eyebrows and a glint in his eye, Clayton mischievously interjected, “You know, they say [that] when a woman cuts her hair or puts on glasses like there’s some sort of thing going on in her life.” Apparently, acknowledging her recent engagement to her Mr. Wright, a grinning Juliet replied, “Yeah, there’s a lot of things going on in my life!”

Later, in the segment, Mike alluded to the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration this year and recalled how cold it was when he and Juliet had hosted FNC’s New Year’s Eve festivities. In their segue to Janice, Juliet asked her if she remembered her and Mike’s hosting. In response, Janice declared, “I do. This is like Throwback Weekend here!”* And, it was: But, eleven years later–with someone new.

And, that someone was Clayton. When the second hour began, Mike declared, “We take you back to 2002: Look, it’s Mike and Juliet on the couch again!” Turning to Clayton, Juliet laughed, “You don’t look like Julian Phillips [their whilom African American co-anchor]! Grinning, Clayton answered, “I know. I’m not Julian Phillips.”

And, today, Mike and Juliet were not quite “Mike and Juliet” either. As usual Mike appeared to be his ever randy testosterone-infused self: But, today, bereft of her tresses, Juliet seemed especially estrogen deficient–and wanting a Miley moment [NSFW VMA 2013 vid]. Tomorrow may be a whole new day.

Huddy & PAB: “Simply the Best”?

December 26, 2013

The girls are back in town! Former Fox & Friends First co-hosts Juliet Huddy and Patti Ann Browne opened their old show to the inimitable Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” this morning. As current F&FF co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt and Heather Childers took the holidays off, it was an amusing start to the day after Christmas for F&FF fans.

As the reader may recall, F&FF (this iteration) debuted almost two years ago (March 5, 2012) with Ainsley and Anna Kooiman at the helm (vid) as nine other rotating co-anchors (i.e., Heather C., Heather Nauert, PAB, Juliet, Arthel Neville, Jamie Colby, Julie Banderas, Dave Briggs, and Clayton Morris) stood at the ready for their shifts. However, on its one-year anniversary, Ainsley signaled that the F&FF co-hosts had been pared to four: She, the two Heathers, and PAB had survived the cut. Approximately, six months later, FNC whittled the number down to two, namely, Ainsley and Heather Childers: TV Newser rather charitably reported that FNC had chosen the two as the “permanent anchors” of F&FF.

But, today, Juliet and PAB had their revenge at Ainsley and Heather Childers’ expense as producers, wittingly or not, committed a lese-majeste, declaring the fresh Jersey girl and Red Eye‘s “notorious PAB” “simply the best [better than all the rest].” Of course, Ainz and Heather C. are scheduled to return to rule their roost soon. And, if the sages are right, she who laughs last laughs best.

F&FF: Ringing in the New Year with feline fireworks? If so, it should be fun! Rowrr!

F&FW’s Juliet Huddy: Mika in the Mirror?

December 18, 2013

Vanity, vanity, all is vanity! Former Fox & Friends Weekend anchor Juliet Huddy returned to the curvy couch this past weekend looking as if she were ready to retake her throne. With notably no mention of F&FW‘s new co-host “for nowAnna Koiman, Juliet welcomed her fans back to a four-hour session as the mistress du jour of the house. Taking a page out of Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski’s sexy feature in Vanity Fair, a freshly shorn, plump-lipped Juliet sported a sassy new do that actually mirrored Mika’s short puffy blond coif (i.e., swept to the left side of her face) and swathed herself in a similar sexy sleeveless, short dress tailor-made for a saucy table dance.

“New and improved”: Juliet Huddy 4.0. Trying to pull off a second F&FW run? Juliet, it ain’t easy being Aly!

[Author’s aside: Juliet flashed her connubial bling anew this past weekend: Apparently, her fortunes have recently improved.]

Huddy Gets Her Rock Back

December 2, 2013

For her doubting Plymouth Thomases, “Happy Turkey Day!” Fox & Friends Weekend fill-in co-host Juliet Huddy paid off her holiday debts to her pawn shop, seemingly. When Carpe Diem noted that she was not sporting her connubial band on F&FW the other weekend (and wondered whether the thrice-married blond beauty was on the market again), Juliet snarked that she had “hocked it for fried turkey.” Only four days later, on Thanksgiving Day, the “poor” pulchritudinous princess had her missing engagement ring back and she wanted her subjects to know it: Rocking her rock prominently in a close-up pic of her and her fiance Steve Wright embracing, she Tweeted, “Happy Turkey Day!”

Happy Turkey Day, Juliet! And, a happy belated Thanksgiving to you and Steve!

Huddy Hocks Rock

November 24, 2013

But, no worries: “Poor” Juliet will fill in on Fox & Friends Weekends during the holidays. To Juliet’s chagrin today, Carpe Diem noticed that the F&F fill-in co-host had doffed her engagement ring and wondered whether she was back on the market again. Miffed at the author’s impertinence, the blonde beauty snarked that she had “hocked it for fried turkey” and caviled that that “is how vicious rumors get started.” “NOT NICE,” she complained.

Not nice, Juliet? Not nice is not appreciating your fans who give a tinker’s dam about you and your future at Fox & Friends Weekend. You may be in for “a few more weekends between now and New Years [sic]” for the youthful, beautiful blonde Anna Kooiman: But, if you envision replacing her in the future, temporarily or permanently, you may want to keep in mind that being an alpha bitch is one thing–but being a real bitch is another thing altogether.

Juliet, you were a curvy couch classic. Stay that way.

Huddy Returns: Sans Honey?

November 24, 2013

Oops: she did it again? Former F&FW co-anchor Juliet Huddy returned to the curvy couch this morning sans her engagement ring. Only three weeks ago, when she last guest-hosted F&FW, Juliet was surreptitiously sporting premarital bling on her ring finger: When she failed to disclose her new relationship status and her new fiance to her F&FW fans on the show, Carpe Diem reported her apparent betrothal to Steven Wright.

Over a week later, Juliet finally acknowledged her engagement to Wright albeit with a pixellated pic of him and her (kissing in Italy). Then, two days thereafter, she came clean, Tweeting a clear photo of her and her fellow. Proudly, she penned, “My…fiance.”

Strangely, today, (a mere nine days later), FNC’s carnal cougar forgets her connubial bejeweled band. Has the thrice-married lovely left yet another lover? If so, perhaps, “beau John Jordan” can give Juliet’s former Mr. Wright a few coping tips.

Juliet’s back! And, back on the market to boot? Stay tuned.

Juliet Huddy Finally Finds Her Mr. Wright

November 3, 2013

Brother John John: “My sis Juliet and her fiance Steve.” Former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Juliet Huddy returned to the curvy couch this weekend with a little something extra special–her new engagement ring, apparently. After striking out thrice, FNC’s pulchritudinous player is pluckishly back at bat again: But, strangely, Juliet (and her her co-hosts, Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris) never revealed her secret to her fans on either F&FW show. Happily, her brother John Huddy (and Fox 5 NY colleague) did–nine days ago: He Tweeted the connubial news and a pic of Juliet’s betrothed, saying, “My sis and her fiance Steve.”

Even though  Juliet has not announced the news to her own Twitter followers, she has left copious hints. On September 13, she Tweeted, “Happy Bday to my love @SWrightNYC. i hope you have an amazing day!!!” A few weeks later, she took a two-week European vacation with him, Tweeting copious pics of herself [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8] and two of her beloved, one of him in front of Westminister Abbey and another of him and her (posing menacingly as a message to a pickpocket who stole her camera). Subsequently, on October 28, Juliet Tweeted out a pic of her and her anonymous ” great friends out watching the Mizzou game” (including her man right beside her).

Congratulations, Juliet, on finding Mr. Right–er, Wright!

F&FW’s Juliet Huddy: “The ‘Bitch’ is Back!”

November 2, 2013

“Blast from the past!” Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Juliet Huddy made a triumphant return today to the curvy couch that she once shared with Mike Jerrick and Julian Phillips in the early 00’s (and that she has eschewed as a sub of late). Taking the reins from the too oft diffident current co-anchor Anna Kooiman for the weekend, the former F&FW “alpha bitch” proudly introduced her appearance as a” blast from the past.”* And, so, it was.

Dressed in her ironically virginal white mini dress, Juliet held court with her boys du jour, Clayton Morris and Tucker Carlson. No awkward pauses, no alphabet soup, and no meek mien from this dirty blonde beauty: The brassy New Jersey broad Juliet appeared in sharp contrast with her more demure Southern belle successor Anna. And, maybe, she intended it that way–or, at least, Shine did.

From this viewer’s perspective, Anna’s absence appeared rather odd since she has been on the job for barely a month. Stranger yet, the usually chirpy bird neither Tweeted her followers nor alerted her Facebook friends that she would take flight from her perch so soon after alighting there. To boot, no mention was made today of the “for now” co-host on F&FW other than the one time Juliet simply said, “I’m Juliet Huddy in for Anna Kooiman” (at the start of the second hour).

The future of Fox & Friends Weekend may seem uncertain but its present is not. At least, for today (and tomorrow), to paraphrase Elton, FNC’s “alpha bitch” is back!** And, Anna’s gone for now.

[Author’s aside: After the show today, Anna posted two glam pics of herself: one with her “Mama Bear” and another with both her parents.]
