Klutzy Klotz: Comely Molina’s Replacement?

October 26, 2016

Socks rocks? Not necessarily. Fox 5 Atlanta meteorologist Adam Klotz made his somewhat clumsy debut today on Fox & Friends First and Fox & Friends this morning. Actually, the Warsaw, Indiana, lad is likeable enough but F&F fans could tell that he definitely had the neophyte jitters as he hit the national stage.

Following in the footsteps of sexy Maria Molina surely was more than a tad daunting. Ergo, he played the role of the sycophant by not showing the fig but showing the socks. Sporting neon orange NASA socks, he reminded one of a former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host, namely Dave Briggs, who loved colorful and wacky socks as a wardrobe accessory: Ingratiatingly, he doled similarly colorful socks out to Fox & Friends First co-host Clayton Morris and Fox & Friends co-anchors Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy, and Brian Kilmeade. Poor F&FF co-host Heather Childers was left out–perhaps, to her relief.

Both F&FF and F&F ran “getting-to-know” Adam Klotz segments with photos aplenty: Adam was seen as an intrepid skydiver and a fearless participant in the Running of the Bulls. And, his softer side was captured in a photo taken of him and his dog Piper sleeping side-by-side by his gorgeous girlfriend.

Adam was somewhat shaky Tuesday morn: But, he seemed more than willing to try. And, all of the hype by F&FF and F&F appeared to show that Shine wanted him to succeed. And, his lady Bianca Robles and his pup Piper certainly did–and they seemed to think that he did as they feted him with a bottle of white wine apparently delivered to him in his hotel room.

According to Adam, he will be back all week. Good luck, Adam: Break a leg!

Anna, Maria, & Greta Gone

September 7, 2016

Wow! Two days, three Foxes out! Monday, Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Anna Kooiman had her final sendoff (vid) as she departed the F&F curvy couch on her cross-country trek before going Down Under to be with her Aussie hubby Tim Stuckey (pic). Tuesday, FNC meteorologist Maria Molina said goodbye to her F&F fans (vid) as she returns to Central Michigan University to continue to pursue her PhD in “Earth Science.” Yesterday, Greta van Susteren left her On the Record fans without so much as an adieu, leaving temporary fill-in host Brit Hume to remark at the end of the show, “Finally, a word about Greta van Susteren….She has left Fox News, saying, ‘Today, the place just didn’t feel like home anymore.’ I count Greta a friend, and I’m sorry to see her go. All of us here certainly wish her well: She made a big contribution, and we will miss her!”

[Author’s aside: Gretchen Carlson, Roger Ailes, Andrea Tantaros, Jedediah Bila, Anna Kooiman, Maria Molina, and Greta van Susteren gone–so quickly: Crazy!]

Maria Molina Returns

August 28, 2016

“Labor Day and the day after.” FNC meteorologist Maria Molina has almost flown the coop: Last Thursday, Maria revealed on Fox & Friends that she was leaving Fox News to attend Central Michigan University to follow her dream of acquiring a PhD “in the field that [she] love[s]” (an “Earth Science degree”): She said that she would matriculate into the program this Monday and seemed to indicate that her last day on air would be Labor Day. [Segment vid.] When asked for clarification by the author today, Maria responded, “Labor Day and the day after.”

Ergo, Maria is a full-time C.M.U. PhD student as of tomorrow: Nevertheless, she has not left the Fox News building: I.e., she will treat her fans to a return appearance on Labor Day and an encore on the following day.

Explaining her departure to Michigan from New York in an Fox & Friends segment Thursday, Maria remarked, “I have been working on some work already with a professor at Columbia University….And, he has moved to Central Michigan University: So, I want to keep working on that same project.”

When F&F co-host Brian Kilmeade queried, “Do you see yourself going back on camera?” Maria exclaimed, “Yes! I would love to return: And, hopefully, explore some ways to stay on camera while I’m out there in Michigan–maybe, with a local station, hoping to stay in the Fox family.”

Elisabeth’s Tearful Farewell

December 22, 2015

Hasselbeck: “This hurts!” Today, Fox & Friends co-anchor Elisabeth Hasselbeck said  a painful goodbye to her co-hosts, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade; the F&F crew; and her fans after a mere two plus years on the curvy couch. The three hours of F&F today were replete with homages to Elisabeth from the likes of Judge Andrew Napolitano, Governor Chris Christie, and GOP front runner Donald Trump. And, Elisabeth was effusive in her praise for, of course, the boss Roger Ailes, for her co-hosts Steve and Brian, and seemingly for every Tom, Dick, and Harry who works for F&F. It was vintage Elisabeth: sweet, cloying so, and seemingly sincere.

The author wishes her well in her position as CBO, i.e., Chief Breakfast Officer, of the Hasselbeck household. Speaking of which, it seems odd, in retrospect, that her own family, hubby Tim and the kids, seemed to have taken a backseat to her work family of Steve, Brian, newsreader Heather Nauert, meteorologist Maria Molina, and the F&F crew today. The faithful F&F fan might have hoped to hear not only her fond farewells to her F&F fam (and fans) today but also a dear, sweet welcome back to full-time work as Hasselbeck CBO from her eagerly awaiting hubs and kiddos–on screen or even on the phone this morn. Alas, it was not to be.

Elisabeth, even though you initially seemed to the author to be an odd choice to follow the footsteps of E.D. Hill and Gretchen Carlson, you have earned your place on the curvy couch–as a sister to Steve and Brian rather than the sexy siren to her couch mates. Much success in the future, Elisabeth!

[Author’s aside: The subtitle, infra, is a quote from Elisabeth re her departure in the final moments of the first F&F segment this morning. F&F – 12/22/15 (@ 6:10 a.m. ET).]

Pinup Maria: She’s No “Angel”!

March 23, 2014

Molina: “The ride of my life….I passed out!” Flushed FNC meteorologist Maria Molina looked like a young Hollywood starlet who had just enjoyed “one wild ride” after she took the “ride of her life” with her Blue Angel escort.

Sharing her exciting personal encounter with one of America’s elite aviators on Fox & Friends First Wednesday, “Cosmo‘s Caliente Latina” gushed, “I had the incredible honor of flying with the Blue Angels and the experience blew my mind! Introducing her with footage of her flight, Maria exclaimed, “I knew it was going to be awesome. And, take a look for yourself at the ride of my life!”*

Subsequently, vid ran of Maria’s fearless navy flyer taking her on a fast steep climb, reaching six plus “g’s”: As he encouraged her on, Maria fainted and her helmeted head hit the cockpit glass hard. Coming too groggily, she reached frantically for the side of the cockpit, exclaiming, “I pa…I passed out!” When her sympathetic pilot answered, “Yeah. How you feeling?,” Maria repeated, “I passed out! What happened?” As she caught her breath, her Blue Angel asked, “We…pulled…some ‘g’ there: But, you back with me now?” Still light-headed, an ashen Maria reiterated, “Yeah! I passed out!”

As her Blue Angel clip continued with more aerial acrobatics to follow, voice-over Maria intoned, “So, what’s it like sitting in the cockpit of an F-18 jet? Well, it’s one wild ride!” As her “wild ride” ended and her plane taxied down the runway, on-vid Maria intoned, “Perfect landing!” When the cockpit cover opened for her to emerge, Maria look radiantly ruddy, demurely doe-eyed, and sensually smiling as if she were a pinup that once adorned America’s fearless fighter jets.

Maria Molina may be no “Angel”: But, the the navy boys seemed mighty happy to finally have their favorite pinup on their plane again–and, in person!

Stormy Maria: Inked Pink!

December 21, 2013

Molina reveals her secret “tart tatt”–nine months late. For Carpe Diem fans of the Fox News weather gal Maria Molina, a/k/a “Cosmo’s caliente Latina,” the revelation was a long time coming. Over nine months ago, the author noted the barbed pink/red ringlet adorning Maria, Tweeting her, “[I]s that a red “barb” tattoo or a beauty mark on your left wrist?” Not a word from the Nicaraguan nymph: Perhaps, the demure beauty thought that FNC was a tatt-free zone and she did not want to be dispatched posthaste like her comely “spanked and spurned” predecessor Domenica Davis.

Nevertheless, Monday, F&F newsreader Heather Nauert outed the demure damsel on F&F‘s After the Show Show. During the episode entitled, “Hidden talents,” with Maria, Heather, and co-hosts, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Steve Doocy, on the curvy couch,  Heather abruptly turned to Maria, teasing, “Give me your hand here! Give me your hand! What is that on your wrist?”*

Embarrassed, Maria initially pulled her arm away from Heather: Then, complying, she gave her hand to Heather. Subsequently, Heather (and Elisabeth) turned Maria’s arm for all of her F&F fans to see the reddish pink symbol inked on her wrist. Interjecting, Steve intoned, “Wait! Wait!…Oh, look at that: it’s a stamp!”

Chiming in, Heather added, “It looks like she was at a little club.”

Chagrined, Maria admitted, “It’s a tattoo.” Shyly, she subsequently explained, “It’s actually a tropical storm.” Then, she added, “It’s supposed to be Hurricane Andrew. And, that’s the reason I became a meteorologist.”

Sounds good–at least, to the parents. But, for ardent acolytes of the smoldering Maria Molina, her explanation seems almost too convenient. For those votaries of a tropical stormy Maria, her symbol looks almost a little like the inchoate etchings of Pamela Anderson’s racy barbed wire.

To quote Eminem, “Maybe, that’s what happens when a tornado meets a volcano.” Maria, “love the way you lie.” Or, not.

[Author’s aside: Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler weighs in? “Pink is my favorite color.”]

Gretch’s Strange Adjo: Snubs Hasselbeck

September 15, 2013

And takes a sly shot at Aly? Friday, Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson bid her co-hosts Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy adieu as she left the number one cable news morning program for her own soon to-be-announced afternoon show. In the penultimate segment of Gretchen’s final show, producers played a moving melange of some of her most memorable moments on F&F [vid(s) via J$P]: When the clips concluded, Gretchen thanked almost everyone (her co-anchors Brian and Steve, FNC meteorologist Maria Molina, hair-and-makeup, crew, producers, and even her alarm clocks)–but oddly she forgot about her fans or her successor Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

As to her fans, perhaps, Gretchen felt thanking them–seemingly at the cue of the teleprompter–at the start of the first and final hour of F&F for watching her for seven years seemed somewhat sufficient. However, Gretchen’s failure to even mention Elisabeth during the three hours appeared strange at best: Instead of acknowledging Elisabeth as the next queen of the curvy couch, Gretchen stayed focused on her own past on F&F; her future afternoon program on FNC; and her silver anniversary as Miss America. Perhaps, the most salient example of Gretchen’s omission occurred at the beginning of the second hour of F&F when Steve explained that the reason for all of the retrospection was that Friday was Gretchen’s last day and that Elisabeth would take over Monday: Instead of gracefully giving her seal of approval to Elisabeth, Gretchen simply smiled, nodded, and then pursed her lips.

As to the “sly shot at Aly” allusion, Gretchen opened the show, saying, “Today’s my last day….And, we’re gonna be looking at some things that…happened over the last seven years.” Raising her finger for emphasis, she smilingly added, “I do want to say however… that it’s somewhat of a good thing that I never once overslept….Three alarms set every night and somehow I always made it here.” As F&F fans may well remember, Gretchen’s premier fill-in co-host and fan fave Alisyn Camerota overslept this past summer and appeared approximately a half hour late for the show (and was sorely teased by Steve and Brian thereafter).

F&F interregnum weekend: Gretch is gone and Elisabeth is coming. May they both find success. And, hail to F&F‘s fair royal Aly who, at least, still rules F&F Weekend.

Gretchen Carlson: “Persecuted”?

July 25, 2013

Religion, politics, and scandal: fact or fiction? No, Persecuted is not a biopic of the Fox & Friends co-host oft lampooned by Saturday Night Live or facilely skewered by Jon Stewart. But, it might just be the name of the major film that she said that she would be filming within the next ten days today in the After the Show Show. [Vid via J$P.]

As A.S.S. started this morning, F&F co-hosts Steve Doocy, Gretchen Carlson, and Brian Kilmeade and FNC meteorologist Marina Molina sat together on the curvy couch. As usual, Brian Kilmeade left almost immediately to go to his Kilmeade & Friends radio show. Shortly, thereafter, Gretchen started to arise, saying, “I’m going off to shoot a movie, actually: So, I’ll see you in about ten days.”

Seemingly, on cue, Steve asked, “In a movie? What kind of movie?” Gleefully, Gretchen answered, “Yeah. A major motion picture.”

As Gretchen walked off the set, Steve queried, “What are you gonna do?” Coyly, Gretchen replied, “It’s a secret!” Following up, Steve asked, “Are you gonna be like the local newsperson or an anchorperson?” Gretchen responded, “Something like that.”

Probing, Steve demanded, “Where are they filming the movie?” Gretchen insisted, “It’s a secret!” “Albuquerque, New Mexico?” Steve persisted.

As Gretchen ignored Steve’s question, Maria queried, “What made you pick that location?” Putting his hand to his forehead suggestively, Steve said, “A voice in my head!” Apparently, to their F&F producers, Maria laughed, “Oh, you told him!”

According to a New Mexico Film Office press release, “feature Persecuted” began mid-July and will end in early August in Albuquerque. Gretchen’s probable “major motion picture” is co-produced by Oscar-winning Gray Frederickson (Apocalypse Now and Godfather) and includes actors, James Remar (Django: Unchained, X-Men: First Class, etc.); Bruce Davison (Lost, X-Men, etc.), and Fred Thompson (Die Hard 2 and Law & Order and former U.S Senator of Tennessee). (The plot revolves around an evangelist framed by a Senator for the murder of a young girl and the persecution that inevitably ensues.)

Gretchen Carlson: “Persecuted”? Or, will she, perhaps, “Transcend” it all?

Clayton Morris “Returning Champ”: Not!

July 22, 2013

2012 “New York’s Funniest Reporter” no-shows at the Comic Strip Live Sunday (and fails to congratulate the new 2013 winner, an FNC colleague on F&F the very next day). Last night, FNC’s “Dancing Machine” meteorologist Janice Dean was crowned as 2013 New York’s Funniest Reporter (along with PIX 11 reporter Magee Hickey) at the illustrious comedy club, Comic Strip Live. Strangely missing from the stage was the 2012 winner, Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Clayton Morris, who was scheduled to return “for an encore” as “Returning Champ.”

This morning, odder yet, Clayton did not even acknowledge his new successor Janice when he showed up on Fox & Friends for his social media segment with F&F co-host Gretchen Carlson:* Less than fifteen minutes earlier, Gretchen had teased him and his interview as she touted Janice’s big win as “New York’s Funniest Reporter,” noting that Clayton had won the same award last year. (Interestingly, in that promo, Gretchen did not reveal that Clayton had failed to appear as planned at the Comic Strip Live event last night even though she did note FNC Senior Medical News Editor Dr. Manny Avarez‘s absence from his initially scheduled placement in the show.)

However, in the “After the Show Show,” Gretchen “let the cat out of the bag” as she discussed “New York’s Funniest Reporter” contest on the curvy couch with co-host Steve Doocy and FNC meteorologist Maria Molina.** After Gretchen had lauded victor Janice’s performance and Steve mentioned third-place winner Charles Payne, Maria asked about Clayton Morris’s routine.*** When Gretchen stammered, “Clayton didn’t, no, Clayton did not, he won last year but he was not there last night,” Maria seemed suddenly befuddled. Looking uncomfortable, Gretchen lamely answered, “But, he was on our show this morning: Maybe, that’s why.”

Or, maybe, not.

Aly Cat: “Sorry about That!..It’s So Embarrassing!

June 3, 2013

Waking hubby: “Hey…what are you doing?” Oops! Tardy substitute Fox & Friends co-host Alisyn Camerota had a very bad early morning: But, on the bright side, she may have had a very good late night.

When Aly failed to appear in for an absent Gretchen Carlson on the F&F curvy couch at the start of the show, a seemingly surprised Ainsley Earhardt, Fox & Friends First co-anchor, surfaced instead on F&F after her own show F&F First, exclaiming, “Well, good morning to you! It is Monday June 3rd….I’m filling in for Gretchen [Carlson] this morning.”

Providing scant cover for his long-time FNC colleague in the show intro (as producers ran a clip of Aly and FNC meteorologist Maria Molina suggestively jamming out with Lonestar last Friday on A.S.S.), co-anchor Brian Kilmeade jested, “Last we saw Aly Camerota, she was partying with the band on our Friday summer concert series and…she’s supposed to be here….[A]ll I know is she is not here. What happened? That story we have.”

Chiming in bawdily, co-host Steve Doocy teased, “She took off with the band! Hello!”

Then, after the F&F theme had played, Ainsley revealed, “Okay, so…we have to be honest here. I’m, like, anchoring the 5 a.m. show, and they’re saying, “Ainsley, we need you to stick around and zip downstairs to Studio B because Aly has overslept this morning! Aly was filling in for Gretchen.” Elaborating, she animatedly disclosed, “So, Aly moved out to Connecticut…recently…a year ago or something….So, this morning, we were…all saying, ‘Oh, her husband [Tim Lewis is] in trouble.’ She’s gonna be like, ‘We’re moving back into the city (NYC): I can’t be this far away from work!”

Trying to come to the aid of Aly valiantly, Brian added, “Well, here, here’s the problem, Ainsley, as you know: They had a five-and-a-half marathon on Saturday and then four hours again on Sunday and then they had the After the Show Show and then some post-tapes. This woman is worn out!”

Giving slightly less succor to the alluring Aly, Steve jibed, “Oh, come on! And, then throw in that she looked like she wanted to join the band.”

Much more amenably, Ainsley interjected, “Right! And, throw in a few kids and a husband. I mean, come on!”

Smiling comically, Steve concluded, “If and when she shows up, you’ll see her…as Ainsley disappears shortly.”

Approximately, thirty minutes later, Aly finally emerged from her make-up room and sashayed to the set, laughing, “I’m ready now!…I just got off the Lonestar tour bus: But, I’m back now.” Reaching the curvy couch with pastry sops, she apologized, “Thank you, guys! Sorry about that!”

Feigning irritation, Steve queried, “Where were you?”

Chagrinned, Aly exclaimed, “My Blackberry did not go off this morning! Yes, I’m blaming my alarm clock, and my internal alarm clock malfunctioned as well!” Looking into the camera at her fans and bowing her head as their supplicant, she said, “I apologize. It’s so embarrassing!”

Turning to Aly empathetically, Ainz asked, “Isn’t is so embarrassing when you wake up and the husband says, ‘Aren’t you supposed to be at work?'”

Heartily, Aly agreed, “It’s horrible! Revealing some benign early morning bedchamber chat with her mate, Aly added, “My husband goes, ‘Hey, It’s 4:30. What are you doing?’ I’m, like, ‘4:30!’ Like my hair’s on fire, and I jumped up.” Grinning naughtily, Aly racily remarked, “And, he wasn’t happy about me going on the tour with Lonestar either! So, I’m in the doghouse!”

Lonestar love to lonely lady! From “cathouse” to “doghouse”? Regardless, Aly is in the house!

CNN’s Indra vs. FNC’s Maria: Weathergal Catfight?

May 21, 2013

Rowrrr! Yesterday, Early Start co-anchor John Berman introduced blonde beauty Indra Petersons as “our brand new CNN meteorologist and the newest addition to our team here in the morning.”* The Latvian lovely stands in stark contrast to Cosmo’s caliente Nicaraguan nymph Maria Molina, the brunette beauty who just snared her own early morn Monday-through-Friday gig on FNC.

According to IndraPetersons.com, Indra is of Latvian heritage, speaks the language fluently, and has learned her country’s “native folk songs and dances” (including the polka). Furthermore, she is said to be a Los Angeles native who started her career in El Paso at KVIA as a weathergal; moved on to Santa Barbara at KEYT as a meteorologist; and then went to Los Angeles’ ABC7 in 2004 as not only the weatherwoman but also as a “general assignment reporter” before replacing Rob Marciano as CNN’s premier meteorologist.  As far as her hobbies are concerned, the hottie is a travel enthusiast who chronicles here travels on her Facebook page.

Whether one agrees with global warming or not, the weather just got a lot hotter with the new girl in town! And, the mornings may dawn just a little sweeter with the potential pillow fights in the offing between CNN’s new  long-tressed towhead and her FNC brown-maned rival. CNN’s Indra vs. FNC’s Maria: a cable dream pay-per-view!

Maria Molina: Tart Tatt or Beauty Birthmark?

April 11, 2013

Pretty in pink. Hottie FNC meteorologist Maria Molina is on a new schedule and is sporting a new look. Cosmo‘s caliente Latina announced a few weeks ago that she will be on Fox News from 5 a.m. to 12 noon E.T. Mondays through Fridays: Apparently, Maria has replaced Janice Dean on Fox & Friends First on Thursdays and Fridays.

As to her new look, Maria eschews her nubial naked appeal re jewelry: Instead, the Nicaraguan nymph now not only wears her de rigeur earrings but also she “dresses to kill” (vid) as she dons a bracelet on her left wrist and a watch on her right one. Consequently, her fans rarely espy that pink ring with two barbs on the bottom of her left wrist hidden that seemed to whisper naughty nothings to her fans.*

Still, tatt or birthmark? ‘Fess up, Maria!

[Author’s aside: Whether her beauty barbs are a tatt or a beauty mark, she has failed to disclose when asked.]

Anna Kooiman: Watch Maria Molina & Me Sashay

April 8, 2013

“Down the catwalk at a celebrity fashion show.” With very short notice today, foxy FNC correspondent Anna Kooiman so teased her and her comely colleague Maria Molina‘s appearance at Stage 48 tonight at “The Scottish Lion Meets the Asian Dragon” fashion fundraiser in NYC primarily for the Wounded Warrior Project. Apparently, Anna and Maria’s modeling on stage will be delicious lagniappe for the party goers: neither of their names appear in the From Scotland with Love’s “Event Information” nor its “Models and Judges.”

For those interested in attending the gala, cocktails are at 7:30 p.m. and the fashion show itself is at 9 p.m; it will be held at 605 West 48th Street; and the $88-$750 ticket details are available here.

Pics, please, Anna & Maria!

Ainsley’s Bridal Shower: Updated!

September 27, 2012

[Earhardt’s tiger revealed, infra.] Seventh heaven: Ainsley and six other Ailes’ angels celebrate a new beginning. Yesterday, Fox & Friends First co-host Ainsley Earhardt‘s hump day was extra special. The sweet Southern belle was honored with a bridal shower by her Fox News family and friends, including fellow FNC femmes, Patti Ann Brown, Heather Childers, Maria Molina, Janice Dean, Heather Nauert, and Anna Kooiman (photo).

Seemingly, the die is now cast: Ainsley’s bridal shower has been thrown. And, yesterday, Janice signaled her hearty approval to her Twitter followers with Tweets about the festive affair. In one missive, she sent a photo of Ainsley and the FNC femme fatales, writing, “From beautiful @ainsleyearhardt bridal show this afternoon @FoxFriendsFirst pic.twitter.com/sHeija7K. In another, she sent a pic of a radiant solo Ainsley sipping an apparent mimosa, proclaiming, “Beautiful bride to be! @ainsleyearhardt.” This morning, an appreciative Ansley laconically replied, “Janice – thanks for the tweet.”

Apparently, Ainsley was a wee bit overly eager last week when she alluded to her “husband.” Perhaps, she already felt secure in his arms at her “Home Sweet Home.” Cheers, Ainsley!

Update: Subsequent to the posting of the author’s article, Janice Tweeted, “A Bridal Shower for our beautiful @ainsleyearhardt @FoxFriendsFirst (plenty of pictures!) weather.blogs.foxnews.com/2012/09/27/ainsleys-bridal-shower. In her post, Janice shares fabulous photos of Ainsley, six more Ailes Angels, and other FNC colleagues partying at Sarabeth’s restaurant in Manhattan. To boot, she reveals the name of Ainsley’s hubby-to-be–Will Proctor (former Clemson quarterback).

Maria Molina: Cosmo’s Caliente Latina!

September 22, 2012

“Funny, smart, and stylish,” too. FNC weatherwoman Marina Molina puts the fox into Fox News and, to boot, she rocks the “hot job of the week” according to Cosmopolitan for Latinas. In her flattering profile, the sexy twenty-five-year-old Columbia-grad student provides her bona fides (FSU alum with both a Meteorology degree and AccuWeather work experience); revels in her Nicaraguan roots (“the people, the food, the culture”); and reveals the key to her success (persistence and hard work). Perhaps, she forgot to mention being a universal hottie does not hurt either.

Of course, Cosmo seems somewhat tardy in their recognition of the comely meteorological replacement of FNC’s Italian dish Domenica Davis: Carpe Diem celebrated the debut of Maria on FNC’s Fox & Friends Weekend (to the delight of co-host Dave Briggs) approximately two years ago. Not to mention, CD subsequently reported on the smoldering Maria’s heating up of the Fox & Friends weekday version as well (even sans photos for co-anchor Brian Kilmeade) Whether Maria is tempting her viewers by going “bust” (or “naked”) or simply teasing them with her subliminal “phallic” map, CD has been there to provide her devoted votaries the delicious details.

Maria Molina: a Cosmo Latina? Helen Gurley Brown would be proud!

Rick Reichmuth’s “Rude” Landing: Cops Called

July 30, 2012

Dave Briggs: “Sorry, Rick, I just outed the whole story!” Fox & Friends Weekend meteorologist Rick Reichmuth was having a “good morning” Saturday. Excitedly, he reported on the 30th Annual Quick Chek NJ Festival of Ballooning during his seven weather segments and enthusiastically shared video and pics (1, 2, and 3) with his Twitter followers. Then, it took a notable turn for the worse as he subsequently took a scenic balloon ride that ended in an irate farmer’s field. Unfortunately, Rick did not tell that part of the story: But, his FNC office-mate and F&FW co-host Dave Briggs did.

On Saturday, as Rick’s final weather forecast ended, he took flight in a red, white, and blue balloon ironically with “800 FARMERS” emblazoned thereon.* Recalling that fact Sunday, Dave introduced the first weather segment, remarking, “The last we saw of Rick Reichmuth, he was getting on an air balloon and floating off: the next thing we know, Maria Molina is in. I…don’t know what conclusion you could draw other than, maybe, he didn’t land.” Laughing, Maria replied that she hoped that Rick would make it back safely and added that he would be having a long weekend off.

When Maria’s forecast concluded, Dave took the toss and filled in the juicy details: Chuckling, he revealed, “And, I should mention [that] Rick did land on his hot air balloon–in a farm: And, the man actually called the police. He wasn’t so interested in them landing in there.” As his co-hosts Alisyn Camerota and Clayton Morris laughed gleefully, a grinning Dave added, “Sorry, Rick, I just outed the whole story! It was good times.”

“Good times”? Perhaps, for everyone except Rick and his poor pilot. And, the angry farmer who, apparently, was not one of the “800” who sponsored Rick’s ill-fated balloon.

Rick, no pain, no gain: Just a little extra curricular F&FW fun for the fans!

F&FF: Maria Molina M.I.A. [Updated]

July 13, 2012

One less fox on Fox? Fox & Friends First meteorologist Maria Molina has been missing from her FNC early morning show for the last two days without any explanation from F&FF. Yesterday, her “First Degree” forecasts were omitted yesterday entirely. Today, they were replaced Spartanly with “Extreme Weather Center” graphics and maps without so much as a voice-over to accompany them.* Bizarrely, F&FW co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt and Patti Ann Browne gave no reason for F&FF‘s changes yesterday or today: In fact, they both failed to even mention Maria’s name.

Stranger yet, Maria did give a weather report yesterday–on Twitter. She Tweeted, “Warm, sunny day in NYC… Made it out to the Central Park Zoo earlier today, seals staying cool in the water :) http://fb.me/1V6IbRODD.” But, F&FF‘s weather beauty offered her followers not a clue as to whether she was playing hooky or whether she had been expelled.

Maria: M.I.A.? Hopefully, she’s just A.W.O.L. for awhile. Regardless, her F&FF fans are ready for her to report for duty immediately.

F&FF – 07/13/12 (@ 5:10 a.m. ET and @ 5:39 a.m. ET, respectively)

Update: Mea culpa! CD reader Motownman was right: cf. comment #1, infra. The author had incorrectly inferred from watching F&FF that Maria was the official F&FF meteorologist and that Janice Dean, “The Weather Machine,” filled in for her. When the author inquired of Maria (with links to Janice & F&FF) whether that were the case, Janice kindly responded, “Hey Jakeho! Maria does Mon-Wed FFF, and I do Thurs/Fri. I’m off for a few days. Maria is back on Sat afternoon! :)” She sweetly added, ” I know it can be confusing! :) Thank you for caring tho! We both appreciate it!”

Sexy Maria Molina: Her Subliminal “Phallic” Map?

April 29, 2012

Risque Clayton: “That graphic–Loch Ness, or Loch Ness monster.” FNC meteorologist Maria Molina‘s caused a titillating stir this morning on Fox & Friends Weekend with her seemingly bawdy weather report map. In character, co-anchors Clayton Morris and Dave Briggs reacted to the single beauty’s “graphic” graphic with a few colorful, carnal comments as their guest co-host Juliet Huddy tittered and blushed.

During her final third-hour weather forecast, Maria concluded her segment with a “Today’s Severe Threat” map (with the effected area looking eerily like an erect phallus).* As she tossed back to the F&FW co-hosts, Juliet Huddy giggled and Clayton suggestively remarked, “That graphic” before adding after a pregnant pause “Loch Ness, or Loch Ness monster.” Joining in the fun, Dave racily jested, “Or something!” Embarrassed, Maria chuckled and shook her head: with a twinkle in her eye, she put her left hand on her hip and arched her left eyebrow at the naughty lads.

Meanwhile, as Maria and the boys had their ribald revelry, a reddening Juliet took off her sexy librarian reading glasses as she tittered and coyly ducked her head. Grinning, a rather appreciative Dave concluded, “Thank you, Maria!”

Sexy Maria’s subliminal “phallic” map: an innocent mistake? Perhaps. Or, perhaps, not.

Maria Molina Naked

January 23, 2012

Again–in earrings. A sexy shout-out to her boys? Fox News meteorologist Maria Molina brought the heat anew to her winter weather report this morning on America’s Newsroom with her obvious brains, beauty, and allure. Adorned simply in silver earrings (jewelry-wise), Maria was not necessarily auditioning for NakedNews.com (NSFW) but the Nicaraguan nymph certainly seemed to be telegraphing to her male admirers that she just might be available.

Naked? Not exactly: she did have her earrings on. Unfortunately, for her, perhaps, overly avid votaries, the long-tressed brunette beauty also had on additional adornment, i.e., a long-sleeved royal blue jacket and matching low top (yet without a hint of decolletage) and a long high-waisted form-fitting black skirt. But, as usual, she sported no necklace, no bracelets, and NO rings.

Hint, hint: Take a gander, guys? Comely Maria Molina: FNC’s “naked” nymph!

Maria Molina Goes Bust

July 26, 2011

Wrap her up? Clad in her cleavage-clinging gorgeous green dress, Fox & Friends Weekend guest meteorologist Maria Molina caught the appreciative eye of many a new admirer Sunday. Perhaps, emboldened by guest co-host Juliet Huddy who proudly exhibited her own ample charms, the timid temptress, who showed scant skin as usual, seemed to seize a new confidence as she bravely displayed her fine form in a waist-hugging and bosom-embracing daring dress. And, her F&FW viewers appeared to take special note of the new Maria–if Carpe Diem readers are any indicium.

As Maria flaunted her fab figure for her F&FW fans, Carpe Diem searches for “Maria Molina” skyrocketed and views of “Maria Molina: Bye!” hit a record high. Although most readers modestly searched for Maria simply by name, more randy ones exhibited a special interest in her cleavage. Even when F&FW had ended and Maria changed into a more demure fuschia dress in her later appearances on America’s News Headquarters, her new admirers continued their quest to know the Nicaraguan beauty better.

Apparently, for her F&FW fans, when Maria goes bust, she really goes boom.
