Safe Space: Fake News? Does anybody who watches cable news on a regular basis believe that the co-hosts who are appearing as the Brady Bunch a la Fox and Friends or The Five or six feet from each other a la New Day buy it? If one does, one probably should be more than willing to buy the Brooklyn bridge from a stranger or the one that Senator Hatch offered to sell in Massachusetts.
No one with any media savvy or political correctness gone amok believe this inanity is for real. Obviously, they are attempting to make a statement as to what the voter should observe–and to be politically correct seemingly.
But, it is irritating to watch knowing full well that these co-hosts are probably congregating in the green room or a private bar nearby. Even though the intent may be benign, the virtue signalling is nauseating.

Dave’s odd adieu: “My path is unclear but I will search for common ground in 2020.” [Link including vid.] Even more bizarre than his former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Clayton Morris’ exit from F&FW [link including vid], now former Early Start co-anchor Dave Briggs said farewell to his audience with little-to-no eye contact with his then co-anchor Christine Romans.
As Dave closed Early Start this morning, he said, “Today I say goodbye to CNN, to Excedrin, Visine, & 1:30 alarms [groaning emoji]. Thank you to my incredible family, awesome audience and my talented staff. My path is unclear but I will search for common ground in 2020. ‘That which unites us … is far greater than that which divides us.'” Making things somewhat awkward, Christine patted him on the shoulder and smiled at Dave as he studiously avoided her gaze.
To make things even more awkward, New Day opened with his former FNC F&FW co-host and current CNN New Day co-anchor Alisyn Camerota abruptly remarking, “We will miss Dave Briggs. And, that was a beautiful, classy way to say goodbye.”
Looking down and shaking his head, Aly’s co-host John Berman responded, “He’s a lovely, classy human being. And, I know that we are going to stay friends.”
Before moving on, Aly added, “As are we–since he lives a block away from me.”
Notably, Dave departure from Early Start was icier today than his emotional one in 2012 from F&FW.
Caio, Dave, for now. You had a great run with Aly and Clayton on F&FW. You had a good run with Christine. Hopefully, you’ll have another great run in the near future!

“Abby, please don’t go, too!” But, sadly, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Abby Huntsman did just that in spite of the plea of this Carpe Diem author. With less than two years under her belt as Fox & Friends Weekend co-host, she bade her co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Ed Henry, her crew, and, most importantly, her viewers a fond farewell to reportedly join her good friend Meghan McCain at the table on The View to wage friendly fire with libs Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg.
Yesterday, in the opening segment, Abby exclaimed, “Big news that we will talk about tomorrow! But this is our last weekend together! So, we are going to make the most of this [inaudible].” True to her word, she did just that today. And, it came as no surprise to those who follow cable news (HuffPo link): But, to the viewers who do not, it probably did since Abby sat on the F&FW curvy couch as queen for such a short reign. In the final segment today, F&FW producers gave Abby a fitting farewell tribute (vid via J$P) as they brought in her hubs Jeff and their daughter Isabel Grace to mark this new chapter in her life. The daughter of the current ambassador to Russia and the past ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, Jr., certainly was politically savvy and smart. And, the Utah lovely also had her sexy side–albeit family friendly–a la weekday Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt. She gave her fans a reason to rise in the early morn on the weekend with her cheerful disposition, beauty, and brains.
Gone much too soon, Abby! You will be missed!

Aly’s woke wrong, and Ainsley’s Ainsley. In the old days of Fox & Friends, Mancow was mimicking oral sex with E. D. Hill with his second and third fingers in a vee and lapping it up with his tongue with a naughty smile as a blushing E. D. laughed it off. Apparently, they had been lovers–and, viewers were invited to a peep show of sorts of days gone bye.
Now, it’s different. New Day co-host Alisyn Camerota has gone from Roger Ailes smart, sassy, sexy lovely to Jeff Zucker’s snarky, “rolling eye” gal when it comes to her conservative guests. But, sometimes, she’s fair–even though the viewer knows that Zucker is watching and having his way way too often.
As to Fox and Friends co-anchor Ainsley Earhardt, she plays her role a la Abby Huntsman of Fox & Friends Weekend. Both are beautiful, brainy gals bringing it to the center seat on the curvy couch. They are both sexy as all get-out: But, they are also rather religious. So wrap your brain around that–if you can.
As a synopsis, Aly is still sexy but she is Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct: You never know if she’ll kill you with her looks or her CNN ice pick. As to Ainsley (and Abby), they both appear very inviting but one wonders if they really in truly are that sweet.

Huntsman: “This weekend. [Nervous grimace emoji].” Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Abby Huntsman announced that she would be back on the curvy couch this weekend. After the birth of her beautiful daughter Isabel Grace [photo] in late November, Abby seems somewhat nervous about her return after maternity leave.
When a fan asked today (March 19), “When r u coming back to work? We miss you, she replied, “”This weekend. [Nervous grimace emoji].”
No worries, Abby! Your fans eagerly await your return–or, as Aerosmith, might say “Back in the Saddle Again”! [Vid].

Steve sanguine: Ainsley anguished. This Wednesday morn, Fox & Friends fans eagerly awaited co-anchor Steve Doocy‘s reaction to his son, FNC correspondent Peter Doocy, being dissed by a perturbed, irascible, supercilious Senator John McCain after being queried as to whether his relationship with President Trump was frayed to the point that he was not to support anything that the President came to him and asked for.
Introducing the segment regarding the heated exchange between his son and the fiery Senator, Steve said, “John McCain is the man who torpedoed the Affordable Care Act fix in the Senate. So, that’s a good question regarding the relationship with the President. And, a young correspondent I happen to know asked the Senator about it and I don’t think he liked the question.”*
Immediately thereafter, in the vid that ran, Peter asked, “Has your relationship with the President frayed to the point that you are not going to support anything that he comes to you and asks for?”
Menacingly, McCain acerbically retorted, “Why would you say something that stupid? Why would you ask something that dumb? Huh?…You mean that I’m going somehow to behave in a way that I’m going to block everything because of a personal disagreement. That’s a dumb question!” Then, he turned and walked away in a huff.
After the clip, Steve declared, “Is it a fair question? Clearly, John McCain has not been a reliable “yes” vote for the Trump train. And, so going forward what’s he going do? As the President said, he would like to have John McCain’s vote but he doesn’t.”
Interjecting, co-host Brian Kilmeade stated, “McCain had a speech after getting a Freedom Award where he was very negative about the President.” Explaining, he mentioned McCain’s allusion to the President’s policies as “half-baked nationalism.” But, defending McCain, he said, “But, he seemed to, at least, give a vote for the moving forward on the budget resolution, to discuss the budget: That will be later this week.”
In answer, co-anchor Ainsley Earhardt responded, “Well, they’ve been going back and forward, Senator McCain and the President.” Pointing to Steve, Ainsley exclaimed, “And, for him to talk to your son who I feel like is my family, I didn’t like that! But, I understand, I know he’s going through a lot so God bless him: But, I didn’t like that exchange! Looking intently at Steve, a sympathetic Ainsley asked, “How did you feel as his dad?”
Deflecting, Steve answered, “It’s, it’s a good question. And, you know what, it’s the sound bite we ran.”
As Solomon once said, “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” Well played, Steve–and Peter.

Seriously? Preempting FNC’s chief meteorologist Rick Reichmuth (and Fox & Friends Weekend) this Sunday morn mid-show for Shepard Smith seems like one of the stupidest programming decisions that FNC has made. Such disrespect to Rick, the F&FW co-hosts, and their fans is almost unforgivable. Rick and the F&FW crew were doing a much better job than this interloper and his crew are doing. Get a grip, Fox News!
[Update: At least, Rick reappeared on “Shep’s show” at 8:38 a.m. ET.]

Clayton Out! Alisyn Camerota: “Don’t adjust your TV’s: It’s not 2012. Look who [sic] I’m reunited with, Dave Briggs, my old co-host!”* That is how New Day co-host introduced guest co-host Dave Briggs with whom she formerly co-anchored Fox & Friends on FNC (as Early Start promoted the upcoming New Day Show).
As New Day concluded, Aly turned to Dave, smiling, saying, “Well, Dave, um, it’s.” On cue, Dave turned to Aly, deadpanning, “Before, we go, you know…I’ve read this terrific book: I need to get you to sign my copy.” Beaming and looking at the camera, Aly jested, “What’s it called? You mean “Amanda Wakes Up?”
Beaming at his former Fox News co-anchor, Dave declared, “I’ve read it: I’ve done my homework. I’ve searched for my story in there.” Not so facetiously, she replied, “Oh, you may recognize a few characters in there!” Chuckling, Dave responded, “I recognize a little bit.”
And, fans of Fox & Friends Weekend and Fox News in general may recognize a lot. And, Amanda Wakes Up may tell a lot–about Aly’s transmogrification from her FNC role to her CNN one.
Ironically, on the very day that Aly and Dave reunited on CNN morning TV, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Clayton Morris who was on the same team with Aly and Dave declared his departure from the curvy couch this Labor Day in the penultimate F&F segment and said that he might not ever be on TV again.

Former Fox & Friends newsreader Heather Nauert returns as the new State Department spokesperson. The blonde beauty had the same sexy mien with a short dress and plunging neckline this early morn on the curvy couch as usual: And, she also brought the brains and strength re North Korea, Russia, and Syria with full control of POTUS’ perspective. She was a true Trump representative: Sexy, smart, and strong a la FLOTUS!
Congratulations, Heather, on your job! And, welcome back to F&F!

“My hubby Isaac Greaney.” This morning comely former CNN/FNC morning news anchor Kiran Chetry announced that she has remarried. In a Tweet to her followers, she wrote, “Congrats to my hubby Isaac Greaney head of @sidleyaustin team & rest of @SwimAcrossSound cmte for success @SAAswim.”
Why is Kiran’s guy lucky? Obviously, his Nepalese lovely is brilliant, sharp, and sexy. Not to mention altruistic. Last night, she Tweeted a video of her finishing her “2K @SAAswim today” with a tease of “big event is tomorrow.” Today, she Tweeted, “Not a swimmer. But I did it! For @SAAswim and the fight against cancer.” And, yes, Kiran was in fine form in her black bikini as she did her 2K (vid) and the big event (pic).
Who is Kiran’s lucky guy? As to his vocation, Greaney is a “partner in Sidley’s litigation group in New York” who joined the firm in 2004 and “has focused his practice on commercial litigation and disputes according to Sidney.com (which includes his pic). Re Greaney’s firm, its Sidley.com site indicates that it is a 150-year-old firm that “comprises a diverse group of legal professionals from many cultures who are dedicated to teamwork, collaboration and superior client service.” According to Greaney’s Twitter account, (which includes a second photo), he is from New York City.
Best wishes, Kiran! And, congratulations, Isaac!

Hegseth in the Middle! Fox & Friends Weekend “host” Pete Hegseth has apparently arrived as the successor to Tucker Carlson. Sunday, Pete was the centerpiece of “‘Sweet’ Surprise: Custom Chocolate with F&F [sic] Hosts’ Faces.”
In their usual promo segment with “Money Honey” Maria Bartiromo who follows them with her own show, co-hosts Abby Huntsman and Clayton Morris displayed a box of chocolates with the faces respectively of Abby on the left on a chocolate, of Pete seemingly strategically placed in the middle on another, and of Clayton on a right one. As the camera featured the Forest Gump-like delights, Abby remarked, “They are so wonderful, and they brought up our personalized chocolate [inaudible]: You can see there Clayton, Pete, and myself.” Aptly, Pete replied, “You should be in the middle though!”
The die seems to have been cast: When one goes to Fox News Insider re Fox & Friends Weekend (“About”), it reads “Join Abby Huntsman, Clayton Morris and Pete Hegseth.” On F&FW‘s Twitter site, the latest Tweet (by Abby on May 5th) reads, “It’s this crew all weekend. Come spend your morning with us!! @fox&friends 6-10am ET @PeteHegseth @ClaytonMorris.”
Oddly, or simply in a dilatory fashion, Fox & Friends’ website names both Abby and Clayton as co-hosts but not Pete. Even though Pete himself stills lists himself simply as a “@FoxNew contributor,” F&FW producers indicated that he was now a co-anchor as it presented the three “co-hosts” Twitter addresses on the hour both Saturday and Sunday and presented them as the trio that reigned from the curvy couch without a hint that Pete was a fill-in.
A la Tucker Carlson, it seems that F&FW simply wants to slip in the latest anchor with little notice to its fans. A mite over a month ago, this Carpe Diem author remarked, “Perhaps, it is a mite premature, Pete: But, welcome aboard the F&FW ship!” Now, he says welcome aboard, Pete: You deserve your seat on the curvy couch.

Bringing gravitas back! Strangely, Fox & Friends Weekend “co-host” Pete Hegseth is still listed as a contributor for Fox News Channel (FNC) in his FNC bio and on his Twitter page. But, he appears to be the unannounced co-anchor of Fox & Friends Weekend a la his apparent predecessor Tucker Carlson and his seeming co-host Abby Huntsman. Perhaps, the F&FW suits have learned from the time they awkwardly replaced Fox & Friends co-anchors Page Hopkins, Kelly Wright, and Greg Kelly with Ainsley Earhardt, Dave Briggs, and Clayton Morris without notice to F&FW fans.
Abby and Ainsley’s loose lips? Friday, Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley sat between guest co-hosts Pete and Clayton on the curvy couch and Abby Huntsman was the newsreader. Before Abby read the headlines at the top of the seven o’clock hour (ET), she pointed to Pete, Clayton, and Ainsley, declaring, “My weekend crew, Ainsley! You’re sitting right…[inaudible]….I love it!” Even though she was the queen of the F&F curvy couch, Ainsley sweetly cooed, “I know! I love being a part of you all! Thank you for letting me do this!”
On Fox & Friends Weekend (Saturday) and today, Pete’s ascendancy to F&FW co-anchor seemed crystal clear. Yesterday, at the top of each hour, the names and Twitter addresses of Pete, Abby, and Clayton were displayed as chyrons at the bottom of the screen underneath them: For the doubting Thomases at the top of the second hour, Clayton seemed to adduce evidence to Pete’s apparent new position, saying, “Pete, Abby, and Clayton in the house for you.” On F&FW today, the chyrons of the names and Twitter addresses of Pete, Abby, and Clayton were back at the top of each hour.
Perhaps, it is a mite premature, Pete: But, welcome aboard the F&FW ship! Your first mate Abby is a young smart beauty who is heir to her father’s political acumen and Clayton is the entertaining class clown who loves UFO’s, comic book cines, and the latest in tech products: And, you bring Tucker’s gravitas to the mix with your Princeton and Harvard education; much more importantly, your service to the nation; and your dedication to the nation’s vets.
For Pete’s sake, Pete, do yourself and your F&FW fans proud! Break a leg!

“I watch them in the morning: I’m a very faithful viewer [of Mika and Joe]!” Sorry, Fox & Friends co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Fox News The Five co-host Eric Bolling is cheating on you in the early morn–and he is doing it with MSNBC’s Morning Joe‘s Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough!
The Five co-host Eric Bolling let the cat out of the bag on Outnumbered as the “One Lucky Guy” today when he was discussing Mika’s emotional response to President Trump’s claim that former President Obama spied on him during a segment moderated by The Five co-anchor Meghan McCain. Airing a vid of Mika tearfully exclaiming, “I don’t know how anybody can defend this President even if it’s their job….[T]his is not funny! This is really bad! Just for the record, we’re all really nervous! So, if people out there feel nervous, we do, too!”*
Turning to her right, Meghan said, “Eric, I’m going to go to you first. I just want to make reference to the fact that Mika and Joe were present at Mar-a-Lago on New Year’s, hanging out with President Trump a mere less than two months ago–didn’t seem too nervous and freaked out then.”
In response, Eric concurred, “That’s right! And, they were also, ah, allegedly at one of the primaries in the Trumps’ hotel room as well.” Coming clean, Eric stammered, “So, they, they, I admit this: I watch them in the morning. I’m a very faithful viewer!”
A “very faithful viewer” of Mika and Joe! Guess Eric needs to go to Father Jonathan Morris for confession when he lights his next candle. Hopefully, he will not only be forgiven by Father Jon but also by his colleagues, Ainsley, Steve, and Brian. Time to repent for “your sin” of being unfaithful, Eric!

Earhardt: “Are we chopped liver?” Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhart had some shade thrown her way by Nerdtears.com founder Kevin McCarthy Friday.
At the end of his segment entitled “Golden Globes Predictions,” Kevin remarked, “[Co-anchor] Steve [Doocy], I’m coming to New York: We’re watching Deadpool together sometime! We’re watching Deadpool together sometime!
Seemingly offended at Kevin’s slight to her, Ainsley stammered, “Oh! What, wha!” Pointing to herself and to her co-host Brian Kilmeade, she exclaimed, “Are we chopped liver?”
Not wanting to be drawn into that drama, Brian dismissively waved his hand downward and laughed, “I saw it already: I can’t watch it again!
In response, Kevin chuckled heartily.
Chagrined, Ainsley sighed, “I’ll just have to watch it by myself, I guess.”
Uncomfortably, Kevin chuckled again: But, in a rather abbreviated fashion.
To this viewer, Kevin’s response seemed somewhat strange. Usually, he is quite sycophantic and solicitous towards the F&F co-hosts: But, he seemed a bit reluctant to assuage a slighted Ainsley Friday. Perchance, Kevin is feeling a mite too much like F&F family for Ainsley’s taste.

On Christmas Day, new Fox & Friends co-host Abby Huntsman earned her “lump of coal.” Yes, believe it or not, the incredibly gorgeous and usually very sweet and smart Huntsman gal can be a “mean girl.” On Christmas Day, when her family was out feeding the proverbial “least among us” at a homeless shelter a la their family tradition, Abby advocated outing and exploiting one’s relatives who had an alcohol problem.
During a segment entitled “Social Media Faux Pas: What Not to do” that included “post photos of gifts, not family; on your phone at dinner; and post pics of drunk family.”* After concurring with the first two, a smiling Abby disagreed with the third. When guest co-host Peter Doocy said, “Yeah, then photos of drunk relatives,” Abby smiling asserted, “No, those are grea[t]: I think that’s a, I think that’s a yes!” With an evil glint in her eye, Abby added, “Not just photos though! I mean get the video camera out when that happens. Get the memories!”
Joining in Abby’s schadenfreude, F&FW meteorologist Rick Reichmuth responded, “Seriously, I think that is fair game! I do! I think that’s fair game.”
Gesticulating toward her sadly sympathetically concurring colleague, Abby coldly asserted, “If they’re going to be drunk and act that way, you can film them!”
Perhaps, the alcoholics who are hungry on Christmas Day may have second thoughts about stopping by the homeless center in Salt Lake City next year. It is laudable that the Huntsmans feed them on Christmas Day as a family tradition: But, if Abby has her camera out next year, they may want to move on.
Abby, alcoholism is no joke: And, I believe that you know it. Making sport of those who are its victims is mean and uncharitable at best. And, Rick should know it, too.
Hopefully, Abby, you (and Rick) will not deserve your lumps of coal next Christmas. During this season of Christmas and Hanukkah (as always), the hurting need love. And, you and your Fox & Friends fans should embrace them, not scorn them.

Oops! Too much skin! “The Fit Butler” was all yum in the early morn on Fox & Friends First yesterday: But, sexy Kris Drew apparently had to doff her sexy blue dress and don another more modest one on Fox & Friends proper. In a segment on the “Gotham Steel Pan” on F&FF, she wore a long-sleeved, high-collared blue dress with flattering cut-outs as to her arms, her sides, and her bosom.* Three hours later, she appeared much more demure in a low v-neck blue dress with long sleeves sans slits: Kinda sexy but not quite as much.
Of course, the coverup is worse than the crime. But, F&F, Kris committed no crime–other than being dressed to kill!

Heather: “We’ll certainly miss you here.” As Fox & Friends First fans awakened to the very first segment of F&FF, co-host Heather Childers announced her veritable co-anchor Abby Huntsman‘s exit from the show to being F&F Weekend co-anchor. At the 5:07 a.m. ET moment, Heather proclaimed, “Well, congratulations are in order this morning: Abby Huntsman named the new co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend.” As Abby alluringly chimed in a protracted “aww” as a montage of her F&FW clips ran, Heather continued, “Of course, Abby, you’ve been here and on the curvy couch for a while now: But, now we are making it official, and you’ll join the team of Fox & Friend Weekend as they celebrate their highest rated year in history….We’ll certainly miss you here: But, glad that you’re staying part of the Fox & Friends family!”
In response, Abby amiably answered, “I love being here with you, Heather! Thanks so much! I’m excited for this new adventure, a new chapter! But, I love our audience: I love the Fox & Friends family!”
And, the F&FW audience appears to love her back. Whether Abby can live up to her predecessors, e.g., Kiran Chetry, Alisyn Camerota, Anna Kooiman, etc. remains to be seen. But, she does seem to be off to a good start.
Congrats anew, Abby!

The Curvy Couch! Poor Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Clayton Morris was aptly chastised by F&F fans for his sloppy sartorial slip Sunday: So, a la F&F weekday co-anchor Brian Kilmeade, he left the curvy couch chagrined. As the final half hour of the show began, apparent co-anchor Abby Huntsman remarked, “Alright, so, we’ve wanted to get [to] this all morning long but we’ve waited until now. Clayton, you don’t know about this: But people [have] been emailing in all morning long in about your tie.” Turning to Clayton and pointing to his tie which was tucked under his crotch, she smiling said, “They’re saying that it’s too long.” As possible future co-host Pete Hegseth leaned in for a closer look, Abby and Pete began to laugh uncontrollably.
Continuing, Abby remarked, “I’m going to read one of the emails here….They say, ‘Clayton and Pete, is this a new fashion trend started by Trump–tying your ties too long?” In answer, Clayton explained, “Blake wants to know that? No, it was pure laziness, Blake….Here’s how dumb I was this morning. I tied it this morning, and I said, ‘You know what, that’s too long…but I’ll be sitting down and no one will notice.” Looking into the camera with a grin at the viewer, he added, “But, then I forgot that we’re on in front of millions of people—and, you did notice!”
Chuckling, Clayton stood up and tucked his tie deep into his pants: And, then promptly he exited the curvy couch a la Kilmeade. Addressing the audience with a smile, Abby said, “Thanks for your emails, guys: We always want to know what you think, about the fashion.”
At least, Clayton did not have his jacket buttoned as he sat–as Fox & Friends co-hosts once did before they apparently got a sartorial tutorial. It is not the first fashion faux pas on the curvy couch and, most assuredly, it will not be last. Hopefully.

Carlson: “I’m going to miss you guys. I really am!” Today was Tucker Carlson‘s finale as Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor. As the show began, co-host Clayton Morris remarked, “Let’s address the elephant in the room because I’m a little misty today: This is Tucker’s last day sitting on the curvy couch with us on Fox & Friends [Weekend]. I’m going to miss you terribly!” Explaining Tucker’s departure, Clayton continued, “But, you’re not going very far. You’re going to be going to the seven p.m. prime time here on Fox News Channel.”
Chiming in, putative F&FW co-anchor Abby Huntsman declared, “It’s a big deal! We’re so excited for you.”
Turning to Abby, Tucker responded, “Thank you!” Then, he added, “I’m sad about it, actually. I haven’t thought about it. I’m excited: But, I’m sad this is my last day. It’s so totally bizarre.”
From the F&FW co-host who told viewers that he did not eat food on TV and who signed his name with printed initials, Tucker has come a long way–especially for his long-time viewers who watched him long ago on CNN when he seemed to be the smug, smart-alecky bow-tie wearing co-host of Crossfire. [Celebrating Tucker’s evolution on the curvy couch: F&FW vid “A Look Back.”] Initially, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Caller seemed reluctant to embrace his additional role as an FNC edutainment co-anchor: But, Bill Shine–with the invaluable coaching of former co-anchor Alisyn Camerota eased Tucker onto the curvy couch, replacing the charming, self-effacing Dave Briggs.
Tucker, it was always evident that you were on the Fox News A-Team, and you brought real gravitas to the F&FW curvy couch: When major news events occurred, you would oft stay put on the show as co-anchor or pundit when your co-hosts other than Aly oft vacated theirs. Ergo, it is no surprise that you are getting your new show at 7 p.m. ET. Congratulations!

Socks rocks? Not necessarily. Fox 5 Atlanta meteorologist Adam Klotz made his somewhat clumsy debut today on Fox & Friends First and Fox & Friends this morning. Actually, the Warsaw, Indiana, lad is likeable enough but F&F fans could tell that he definitely had the neophyte jitters as he hit the national stage.
Following in the footsteps of sexy Maria Molina surely was more than a tad daunting. Ergo, he played the role of the sycophant by not showing the fig but showing the socks. Sporting neon orange NASA socks, he reminded one of a former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host, namely Dave Briggs, who loved colorful and wacky socks as a wardrobe accessory: Ingratiatingly, he doled similarly colorful socks out to Fox & Friends First co-host Clayton Morris and Fox & Friends co-anchors Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy, and Brian Kilmeade. Poor F&FF co-host Heather Childers was left out–perhaps, to her relief.
Both F&FF and F&F ran “getting-to-know” Adam Klotz segments with photos aplenty: Adam was seen as an intrepid skydiver and a fearless participant in the Running of the Bulls. And, his softer side was captured in a photo taken of him and his dog Piper sleeping side-by-side by his gorgeous girlfriend.
Adam was somewhat shaky Tuesday morn: But, he seemed more than willing to try. And, all of the hype by F&FF and F&F appeared to show that Shine wanted him to succeed. And, his lady Bianca Robles and his pup Piper certainly did–and they seemed to think that he did as they feted him with a bottle of white wine apparently delivered to him in his hotel room.
According to Adam, he will be back all week. Good luck, Adam: Break a leg!
