Outnumbered! Sans Andrea NOT!

May 31, 2016

Where the “H-E-double hockey sticks” is Andrea Tantaros? The absence of the sharp, scintillating FNC hottie with the high hemline and the killer heels on Outnumbered is duly noted: The occasional presence of the sexy Kimberly Guilfoyle will sometimes cause the casual male mind to “misremember” her potent presence as some allegedly steroid-primed pitcher once put it. But, the team of Sandra Smith, Harris Faulkner, and who ever happens to be the other two gals du jour–not to mention the #oneluckyguy on the couch–just does not cut it.

“Outnumbered” without its Greek Goddess? Not the best of views! Perhaps, it is time to watch “Fifty Shades of Grey”–or “Eyes Wide Shut” instead! And, if you’re an Andrea acolyte, buy “Tied Up in Knots” for good measure!

Bring her back, Bill Shine! And, quit losing our loveliest ladies–e.g., Kiran Chetry, Alisyn Camerota, and now, Andrea Tantaros! Seriously!

Hottie Huntsman’s F&FW Debut

May 8, 2016

Tucker Carlson: “I hope not the last time!” Today, Fox & Friends First co-host Abby Huntsman finally made her debut on the F&F Weekend curvy couch. As the show started, Abby turned to her co-anchors Tucker Carlson and Clayton Morris, remarking, “First time. Are you guys going to be nice to me today? Are you going to treat me well?” Clayton answered, “We’re going to be lovely to you!”

And, Clayton and Tucker were: As well as they should have been. After all it was Abby’s virgin appearance on the F&FW vaunted curvy couch as co-anchor. Abby may not have been the fun, effervescent, flirty Anna Kooiman: But, she wasn’t bad either. She may have flubbed the pronunciation of Saskatchewan once: But, she was more than competent, and she remembered to dance out the segment oft enough for the jib camera–and her fans.

In the author’s opinion, Abby gets a “B” in her first appearance on the curvy couch as F&FW co-anchor. The waifish beauty is a budding natural FNC fox: She is breathtakingly gorgeous, and she seems to be rather comfortable in front of the camera. However, the F&FW viewer could sense that she was not entirely at ease today. But, it was her first time.

Kudos, Abby! You did well today. It was your first time on the curvy couch: And, if F&FW fans have their way, it will definitely not be your last.

[Author’s aside: Re the subtitle, supra, at the beginning of the third hour, Tucker introduced Abby, saying, “Abby Huntsman joining us on the couch for the first time: I hope not the last time! It’s been great.]

New Day NSFW? “MotherF**ker”!

May 5, 2016

Oops! This morning, New Day was definitely NSFW–at least, for a moment. As the penultimate segment of the first hour concluded, co-host Alisyn Camerota teased her viewers to an upcoming “Prince’s Final Hours” segment with a bumper video compilation clip from Prince: Unfortunately, the final vid was FUNKNROLL! Just before commercial, Prince sings, “Another motherf**ker you’re.”*

Yikes! Not exactly suitable for children as they are getting ready for school.

Strangely, neither Aly nor guest co-host John Berman apologized to their New Day audience.

Nauert’s Naked Frolic

May 4, 2016

Naughty Heather confesses. Fox & Friends news reader Heather Nauert really heated things up for her viewers today on the F&F plaza: she revealed that she had once pulled a Lady Godiva in a Volkswagen bug–with the top down for all to see. And, she did not seem to mind that Peeping Tom.

During a “Top Adventure Vehicles for  the Summer” segment [vid], the F&F co-hosts (Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade) and Heather helped showcase the vehicles with auto expert Mike Caudill on the patio. When Heather’s turn arrived, she sat at the wheel of a 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Dune, exclaiming, “Come on over! Wooh!” As he walked over to jump in, he said, “This is a throwback vehicle: This takes us back, right?” Apparently, it did indeed.

Before Caudill could even close the door, Heather saucily asked, “Ah! Can I tell you the last memory of this car?” Before he could answer, Heather racily revealed, “I lost on a dare to my best friend who had this car and I had to ride in it naked! Hiding her head in her hands in mock shame and then looking up with a sexy smile, Heather giggled, “With the top down!” Turning to an allured Caudill, Heather risquely continued, “And, we pulled up next to my Latin teacher.” Then, she laughed robustly–as if she were a ribald German barmaid serving up copious drafts with verboten views.

Trying to compose himself, Caudill did not reply instantly to Heather’s siren song: Rather, he simply continued, saying, “So, this is a Volkswagen Beetle Dune.” Chuckling, Heather replied, “You’re like ‘anyway’!” Finally, responding, Caudill exclaimed, “I know. I’m like she just said that she’d go naked in this thing!…How do I transition off that?”

Transition? Hmm. Lady Godiva rode on her steed: Likewise, Lady Heather rides in her Beetle! Look out, boys: Here she comes!

Another New Day–Again!

May 1, 2016

Michaela says goodbye. Friday, New Day co-host Michaela Pereira called it quits: Now, Chris Cuomo is the last original co-anchor left standing. CNN honcho Jeff Zucker can try again to make that winning team that can give Fox & Friends a run for the money–or, at least, come in a respectable second.

Last week, CNN seemed to want to ease Michaela out the New Day door unlike its ceremonious ditching of another original co-host Kate Bolduan when she was on maternity leave by Zucker: Nevertheless, the slow sendoff of Michaela from New Day seemed like a painful display of inane maudlin, mawkish sentiment. The shtick appeared to be a pouting Chris about Michaela “abandoning” the show; a reveling Michaela in the “pain” that her departure caused Chris; and a laughing Alisyn Camerota at their silly departure dance.

Before Michaela exited the stage, she may have been billed as a coequal anchor but the loyal New Day viewer knew the pecking order: Chris was the alpha male; Aly was the alpha bitch (in a good way); and Michaela was still along for the ride. It did not go unnoticed by ND fans that prime anchor Chris would open the show in the first hour; secondary host Aly would intro it the second hour; and Chris would lead in the third and final hour: Tertiary anchor Michaela would tend to do the personal interest stories and racially sensitive ones.

Now that Michaela has “left the building,” the auditioning will begin–hopefully, for both males and females. Early Start co-hosts Christine Romans and John Berman would be a good place to start: No-nonsense Christine guest co-hosted ND predecessor American Morning regularly and quick-witted John Berman is oft a guest co-host of New Day. Of course, Aly and Chris might be a good duo a la Kiran Chetry and John Roberts (the last official co-hosts of AM).

Good luck, Michaela, as you move to HLN to host your own to-be-announced morning show! And, good luck Aly, Chris, and Zucker as you craft anew a New Day!
