“Do You Love Clayton Morris?”

June 27, 2016

“Who is that guy?” From the mouths of babes! Fox & Friends Weekend meteorologist Janice Dean asked one more question than she should have. The Weather Machine/Dance Machine Janice Dean is always understandably touting F&F, its personalities, etc. in her “interviews” of the Everyman on the street. However, adults know “the answer”: Kids don’t!

At the end of her weather segment at the bottom of the third hour, Janice turned to the children assembled for “state fair” fun and festivities on the F&FW pavilion Sunday, asking, “Are you guys ready to play some more games?”* “Yes!,” they heartily exclaimed. Smiling, Janice queried, “Do you love it here on Fox & Friends Weekend?” A cute little girl curtly responded, “You already said that!”

With co-anchor Clayton Morris nearby, Janice pressed her luck, asking, “Do you love Clayton Morris?” Interjecting, Clayton pleaded, “Yes!” A darling lass asked, “Who is it?” Looking up at Janice, she queried, “Who is that guy?” As Janice roared with laughter, Clayton sheepishly chuckled.

“Do you love Clayton Morris?” Perchance, the answer is to whom one poses the question. To the F&FW viewer, he is probably “likeable enough” to echo a familiar phrase. As to Sara and Natali, they may differ more than a mite.

Love him or hate him, Fox & Friends Weekend itself is still a FNC fan fave!

F&F: “F**king” Gaffe

June 24, 2016

Smiley apologizes. Talk show host Tavis Smiley had some Fox & Friends fans frowning this early morn. In a segment where Smiley touted his new co-authored book, Before You Judge Me: The Triumph and Tragedy of Michael Jackson’s Last Day, he said, “I was a fan of Michael like most of us: And, the day that Michael died, I was just gobsmacked because I had already purchased my tickets, my concert tickets, my plane ticket, hotel reservations to go to London to go to the old [inaudible] to see his final concert. I was ready to go!”* Elaborating, he remarked, “And, I wanted to know as a fan ‘what happened from the moment you said you were going to come back, “this is it, one more time,” sixteen weeks later, you’re dead. My ultimate question is ‘Why are you f**king’–you know, pardon the phrase–‘why are gone so soon?'”

Co-anchors Steve Doocy and Ainsley Earhardt and guest co-host Pete Hegseth simply ignored his obscenity. Concluding the interview, Steve shook Smiley’s hand saying, “Tavis, always a pleasure!” Some fans, especially parents, of young children, may have heartily disagreed. But, at least, Smiley did apologize for his gaffe: Unfortunately, Steve, Ainsley, and Pete did not. Oops!

Andrea Tantaros Nude

June 19, 2016

Tantaros: How much do I want to share with America? Missing Outnumbered co-host Andrea Tantaros is nowhere to be found on Fox News as of late. Perhaps, she is still “Tied Up in Knots” as her latest book suggests. And, naked in bed to boot.

Sitting in the leg chair on Outnumbered on the right usually, Andrea has always commanded rapt attention in her sexy short skirts and in her killer high heels. But, what else would one expect from the purported love of former Chili Hot Peppers rocker and current Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro? Now she has disappeared: Rumors are she was taken off the air, at least, for now, possibly because of her purported Trump leanings.

For Andrea’s acolytes, her absence is a whit unwelcome. Perhaps, on occasion, their disappointment is ameliorated in part when the leggy Jedidiah Bilah makes her too rare appearance.

But, take heart, Andrea devotees. One can enjoy her 2012 November Playboy appearance, er, her interview–sorry, lads– with John Meroney. Or, read her “Tied Up in Knots.” And, for Andrea’s more avid acolytes, they can be seduced by her siren coos on a future audio book.

Less than a year ago on Outnumbered, Andrea bared herself for her fans during a segment subtitled, “Get Your ZZZZZs with No Undies.”* Presiding over that very segment, occasional co-host Jedidiah Bilah revealed, “You know what’s funny? I can’t sleep naked for some reason. I have to have my Spiderman pajamas on: Don’t worry, they’re very sexy! But, I can’t sleep in the nude–this is why I’m single.” Turning to Andrea, she racily remarked, “I can’t sleep in the nude. Can you? Have you mastered this, this, this?”

Saucily, Andrea answered, “You know, I’ve been pondering this for the entire show: How much do I want to share with America? And, all I’m going to say is ‘yes.'”

FNC’s “Outnumbered”: Andrea’s missing! “Tied Up in Knots”–and sleeping in the nude!

Aly Oops: “Muslim World, Christian World AND the Baptist World”

June 17, 2016

Camerota confused: Blame it on Westboro? This morning, New Day co-host Alisyn Camerota interviewed Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, asking her how her meeting with the President went yesterday.* Sheehan replied that she had not because “‘they’ were concerned that all the local elected officials would want to meet with the President.” Then the seemingly wounded Sheehan laughed, “I’m like, wait a minute! I’m the, I’m the gay one! I actually didn’t get to yesterday.” Sympathetically, Aly answered, “I’m sorry to hear that.”

Later, in the interview, Sheehan expressed her optimism as an LGBT activist of thirty years, saying, “I really feel a shift…I’ve dealt with a lot of people whose hearts and minds were really set in a way that was not in favor of my community. But, what I’ve seen is really a shift in the faith community.” She continued, “They have been very upset about some of the protests that have been talked about happening here: They say, ‘This is not reflective of our religion.'” Subsequently, she said that the Christian ministers had reached out to the imams and the Muslim community and that it was the first time that she had seen that: Clarifying herself, she said that they had had such interfaith groups (in the past) but that they had been “kind of…the lefty churches…the Unitarians…but now I’m talking about the Baptist Church folks locally talking to our Muslim community which I think is great!” Subsequently, Sheehan added, “And, they’re saying that this is about love and we need to embrace our LGBT community and I’ve never ever heard that before. So, I really do feel there’s a change and a shift because of this tragedy.”

Raising her eyebrows, Aly remarked, “That is a really nice silver lining, Commissioner, because we had heard rumors that there might be these sick protests from that odious fringe group who protests.” Interjecting, Sheehan stammered, “I’m not going to, I’m not going to mention their name because I find them so disgusting.” Concurring, Aly replied, “I’m not either.” Elaborating, Sheehan asserted that they [apparently, Westboro Baptist Church] had promised that they would not do a protest.

In response, Aly concluded, “We have seen lots of extremists…who bastardize a religion and claim it for their own in order to do vile things. And, we pray that that does not happen during the funerals down there. But, it is very heartening and inspiring to hear that the Muslim world and the Christian world and the Baptist world are all coming together.”

Aly, hopefully, love will conquer all as the Orlando victims are laid to rest, and, hopefully the WBC will not disrupt the funerals for the family and friends as they grieve their now deceased loved ones. But, as to the “Christian world and the Baptist world,” the world renowned evangelist Baptist Billy Graham would be rather surprised that you did not include his denomination in the “Christian world.” Blame it on Westboro?

Cuomo Calls Trump ” Our Racist”?

June 8, 2016

“But, he’s my bigot!” New Day co-host Chris Cuomo appeared to “tar and feather” the presumptive GOP standard bearer Donald Trump with the epithets of “racist” and “bigot.” As former First Lady Hillary Clinton laid claim to be the almost certain Democratic Presidential nominee, Mario Cuomo’s youngest son appeared rather ready and willing to try to begin the process of taking Hillary’s Republican opponent out.

Yes, Chris has indicated that his mom loves and admires Trump (whose family appears to have been Cuomo friends–or, at least, congenial neighborhood acquaintances): But, today, Chris seemed to go out of his way to vilify The Donald today. In a tease, before interviewing moderate Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine, he remarked, “What he says may be racist: But, he’s our racist! Is that a winning proposition for the GOP? When we come back, we have a Republican Senator to make the case!”

When New Day returned from commercial break, Chris interviewed Senator Collins who praised her former colleague, the erstwhile New York Senator Clinton, and declared that she has “a good relationship with her.” Beginning his colloquy, Chris queried whether Senator Collins could get over Trump’s remarks as to “this [Latino] judge [who is presiding over the Trump University lawsuit] and that’s one on a list of many statements like that that have come out of Trump.” In answer, Senator Collins said that she would like to be able to endorse Trump; that he should apologize to the judge and to the American people; that he should start acting more Presidential; and that he should articulate clearly what a Trump Presidency would look like. In reply, Chris asked, “So Senator, what do you say to a Republican or a Republican colleague whose proposition is ‘What do you want me to do? Is he bigoted? You know, it seems a lot of these statements fits squarely under the category of “yes” but he’s my bigot.”

If the reader wonders what the Senator said in response, she demurred and declared that she was struggling to support Trump: But, perhaps, the more salient fact was that Chris seemed to call Trump a racist and a bigot–or, at least, lay the groundwork for that attack for future reference. If so, it tarnishes New Day which should be a forum for an open discussion of the issues and the Presidential candidates. After all, viewers want a “fair and balanced” perspective of the news: And, they should get it on New Day.

“Racist” and “bigot” are rather inflammatory monikers! Dial it back a bit, Chris: And, let theĀ New Day viewers decide.
