Raspy Aly

Fox & Friends co-host Alisyn Camerota left her velvety voice in Seattle and returned with a sexy, raspy one. Yesterday Steve Doocy couldn’t resist saying that she should read the news on a 976 phone line: A flattered Aly said that she hoped that it sounded sexy. Today Brian Kilmeade noted that Judge Napolitano had the same malady and Aly teased that she had to quit making out with the Judge. Unlike her sub Patti Ann Brown, Aly’s no wallflower. She’s one spicy Italian dish.

Sorry about all the raspiness on Fox. My question today is…Griff Jenkins?
Weekend Anchor? More silliness to come? G-r-r-r-r-r-r!

When is Griff anchoring this weekend? Maybe replacing Painful Ainsley?

Saturday’s show is AMAZING so far. Terrible news, but it’s Steve, Brian, Rick and Alisyn. This is SUCH a relief from the awful weekend crew they usually have. Can you all see the difference? Wow- this is terrific!!!

How true, Chris. I hope we’re all firing off emails to yourcomments@foxnews.com to let them know how much we appreciate being able to watch the show AND keep our breakfasts down.

Very interesting that most of the show is not about Russert’s tragic passing, but mostly a regular Saturday. Also interesting that the 3 co-hosts came in this morning after what was (for them) a late night at the Mets game.

Note also that no other FNC show is bringing in the A-Team today.

I guess this is because of how the Fab Four have a habit of mocking the deaths of other TV icons.

If Page, Kelly and Greg were still on this show, I bet they wouldn’t have been preempted by the grownups this morning.

Hey FNC Execs: What does it say about your weekend morning team when it is so incapable of handling a serious and tragic story that you have to bring in your weekday stars?

Agreed. There is no way that those four (Clayton, Dave, Courtney, and Ainsley) could have pulled off this topic. None. Their lack of chemistry, knowledge and basic- I don’t know what to call it- kindness, maybe? would have prevented them from delivering anything other than tee-hees and giggle giggles about Russert’s passing, the flood damage, anything remotely intelligent about the space shuttle. Heck, they fumbled the live story on a movie studio fire! Please, let this be the beginning of the end of those four.

And I loved the way the thanked Ainsley for “reading” the news- then promptly ignored her. Good choice. The less chance that one has to babble and “contribute” to the show, the better. Send her back to the plantation, ya’ll.

And may I also add that Rick was among his peers once again! This weather story is terrible, and he was on top of it. Steve, Brian, and Alisyn were VERY professional, listening to him (as he is the expert), asking questions, and basically complimenting his work. That would have been reduced to “the weather guy is taking up MY air time” and “tee-hee, let’s get really silly now” with the other four. Well done, today, FNC. The show has not been this good since February. Your current weekend crew is glaringly nowhere near this caliber.

I saw Rick on Greta’s show the other night (Wed??) … and the way she treated him was sooooooooooo DIFFERENT than the way the Equine Quads treat him … Greta treated him as a peer who is very knowledgeable on the subject (the horrible weather in the Mid-West) at hand …

The Equine Quads treat Rick as if he were the ugly stepbrother that they’re forced to take to the mall … or as if he’s a leper …

It was nice while it lasted. We just went from Rick very intelligently discussing the horrific flooding- to a clip of Clayton giddily walking around the news building and NYC- dressed in a Hullk costume. What a total ass. And, of course, we had Ainsley grinning vapidly, commenting, “Ah luv it!!!”
The weird guy in glasses just gave us a SURF report (huh?), and we have Courntey botching the news.

    Kill me now, please.

Sorry I missed Rick on Greta. It would have been nice to see someone treat him with the respect he deserves. He surely is regulated to the back seat on F & F W, even though he’s the smartest guy in the room.
