Phoenix Rising

Due to my being a Luddite and AOL’s lack of adequate Mac tech support, I have not blogged on my AOL Carpe Diem site in aeons. This lonely voice in the hinterlands has found his voice–as Hill might say–again. Those who read this site and have suggestions to make it more user-friendly and more aesthetically pleasing, please give me your suggestions. Please feel free to give me unsolicited tech help as well. Thanks!

Glad you are back on blog although I think blogging is for the younger generation! You certainly are gifted for the “blog thing!” Love, Mother

JKH, Welcome back to the WWW. You are a combination of William F. Buckley, Jr. occasionally forcing even the most erudite to repair to his OED or Webster’s Unabridged for truly effective understanding of the recondite matters as so oft provided, as well as Emile Zola, who also often showed us “things as they are, not as we desire them” for our own good.

I know you will always ‘resist the temptation to moralize’, and give us the ‘street report’ whether we want it or not.

    Carpe diem, and perambulate away!
