Ed out: Carley In?

December 20, 2019

Queens boy out: Jersey girl in? Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Ed Henry appears to be on his way–given the Tucker Carlson treatment. Both seemed to bristle at being treated to the F&FW trials where they were not given the Anderson Cooper coddling but they had to find a way to endear themselves to the “implorables,” the backbone of America who are not ensconced in the elitist Establishment’s Ivory towers.

Tucker’s trial by fire (where he actually had to eat on air contrary to his sworn attestations aforehand and to suffer other motley indignities to the delight of the Everywo/man) resulted in his becoming an FNC prime-time host of his highly-rated eponymous show. Now, oft decried as the “journalist” co-anchor on F&FW by his beloved tattooed Army co-host serviceman Pete Hegseth, Ed seems set to be on a similar path as the co-anchor with the lovely LSU alum, Sandra Smith, on America’s Newsroom as Bill Hemmer moves on to “green pastures” in the afternoon to take over Shep’s erstwhile grazing milieu.

Perhaps, Fox & Friends (in its various iterations) blond beauty Carley Shimkus from New Jersey will join slightly harder-edged brunette Jersey girl Jedediah Bila on the curvy couch with Pete to sweeten the pot. As longtime fans of F&FW know full well, it would not be the first time that two gorgeous gals ruled the roost in the early FNC weekend morn. Once the comely Kiran Chetry, Jersey-girl Alisyn Camerota, and Julian Phillips made up the two-gal, one-boy ensemble that awakened F&FW fans to greet the dawn.

Much success, Ed! And, hopefully, Carley will fill your footsteps in her sleek, sexy stilettos.

Tarlov Believes Her Lying Ears

October 19, 2019

“[Hillary] didn’t call Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset.” On Fox & Friends Weekend this Saturday morning, FNC contributor Jessica Tarlov apparently believed her lying ears. Or, maybe, she just had had a really late Friday night.

In a segment subtitled “Clinton Suggests Russians are “Grooming” Gabbard,” F&FW co-host Jedediah Bila played a David Plouffe podcast with Hillary Clinton saying, “I think they…are grooming [Gabbard] to be the third-party candidate. She’s the favorite of the Russians…That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up because she’s also a Russian asset.”* [Underscoring added for emphasis.]

Less than a minute later, Jedediah remarked, “For [Hillary] even, I mean, to come out with this type of statement and say you’re a Russian asset. She has no evidence of that. Does this help the Democrats in any way to have her doing this?”

Jessica responded, “Well, if you listen to the interview, she didn’t call Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset.”

Well, Jessica if you listen to the interview carefully, she did call Tulsi Gabbard a Russian asset.

Jedediah’s Sexy F&FW Debut

September 9, 2018

Sharp, saucy Staten Island siren with sexy stems! To the strains of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer,” first time guest co-guest and former “The View co-host Jedediah Bila made her glam debut in the center seat on the Fox & Friends Weekend curvy couch. As the camera zoomed in on her saucily “shaking it” in a short blue dress and her more sedate male co-hosts Pete Hegseth and Ed Henry, the leggy lovely exclaimed, “I’m already dancing!”

To the F&FW audience, Ed promised, “You’re going to get Jedediah a lot more.” And, the Wagner College valedictorian was unveiled to the fans indeed as the show progressed.

In a subsequent segment subtitled, “Jedediah on the Curvy Couch,” on a personal level Jedediah revealed that she is from Staten Island and that she was a Catholic school girl; and that she had recently wed. (According to U.S. Weekly, the thirty-nine year old married Jeremy Scher on February 17 in Huntington, New York, her affianced with whom she had “been living together for a while.”) She added that she went on honeymoon to Italy, enjoying a hot air balloon in Florence yet fearful and cursing; took a Vespa scooter to tour; and took a chairlift up a mountain. However, she indicated that she sadly had to leave the light of her life Emma, an adorable white “toy” dog behind.

In the same segment, supra, on a professional level, she recounted that she had reviewed a book by conservative talk show host (and now FNC host of Life, Liberty, and Levin) Mark Levin, Liberty and Tyranny, and that is how she made her first appearance on FNC on Sean Hannity’s show (March 10, 2010). Chiming in on cue, Ed asked, “Are you working on a book?” Jedediah animatedly answered, “I am working on a book! It’s comes out November 9….It’s called “#Do Not Disturb: How I Ghosted My Cell Phone to Take Back My Life.” It’s going to change your life: You’ve got to get this book!” Elaborating, she remarked, “I took steps: I had a technology addiction, and I realized how crazy it was! I share personal anecdotes; I share the whole journey–crazy ex-boyfriend story. You’re not going to miss anything!”

And, that was just the beginning of Jedediah’s audition and the weekend!

Sandra Smith: Sexy Enough?

February 15, 2016

Not yet! Recently, staid Outnumbered co-host Sandra Smith has become a fixture on the curvy couch on both Fox & Friends and F&F Weekend recently. The FBN/FNC co-anchor is a lovely but she is not exactly the eye candy that F&F fans expect. I.e., Sandra is the tom boy, the whilom LSU track athlete who likes to win the race but does not really care how she looks doing it.

And, that may be okay. However, on FNC, she needs to up her game. Sex it up a bit: a dab of decolletage or a mite more gam never hurts. After all, Fox & Friends means something: the gal in the center seat on the curvy couch needs to be the fox, and the boys are her friends.

If Sandra wants to compete for the center seat on the curvy couch on either F&F or F&FW, she has to bring her game: F&FW co-anchor Anna Kooiman appears ready to move from F&FW to F&F, and F&FW seems to be in flux or possibly awaiting the return of the lovely Ainsley Earhardt (after her maternity leave expires). To boot, FNC lovelies Kimberly Guilfoyle, Jedediah Bila, Andrea Tantaros, Nicole Petallides, and the like are at the ready–and the F&F fan will not settle. Not to mention (at least, on the weekday)–the delectable Alisyn Camerota is on the other channel!

Outnumbered: Outmanned?

April 30, 2014

Girls, girls, girls: “You just submit from the first moment!” Fox News beauties Harris Faulkner, Sandra Smith, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Jedediah Bila kicked off their inaugural show Outnumbered with token troglodyte Tucker Carlson of Fox & Friends Weekend fame Monday.

As FNC’s femme fatale showcase started, Sandra introduced the “big reveal” Tucker and Harris revealed that he lived with a lot of women: Chuckling, the #OneLuckyGuy du jour remarked, “I live with exactly this number four: So, this is like dinner at my house. Yes, I’m in a defensive crouch already.” Cocking her head jauntily, Sandra queried, “So, how does it feel to sit in the hot seat, Tucker? He laughed, “Well, you just submit from the first moment: you already give up. So, if you begin at that point, you can’t lose!”

And, for the most part, Tucker did just that. But, to keep the boys watching FNC’s “View,” Tucker took the view of most adolescent boys when it came to a sexy teacher who allegedly gave one of her fifteen-year-old male students a lap dance for his birthday in class. Introducing his segment, Tucker riantly remarked, “I think [that] legitimate opinion divides whether this was appropriate for the classroom or not.”* As his female co-hosts looked at him in utter disbelief, he declared, “There are people out there who believe that there ought to be criminal sanctions brought against this woman. And, I think that’s deranged because…there’s no victim here!”

Outnumbered: But, not outmanned! Tucker: Boys will be boys! The ladies were almost in control!

[Author’s aside: More estrogen friendly, Brian Kilmeade was the boy in the middle the following day and today. His only guy gaffe: caviling over whether cheerleading was a sport or not.]
