Anna Koiman: I have big shoes to fill at Fox & Friends Weekend. Before her curtain call on Saturday, the queen of the curvy couch, Alisyn Camerota, seemed somewhat reluctant to give up her throne and to leave her acolytes alone. Perchance, as succor, her successor, at least, “for now,” Anna Kooiman gave her apt homage, Tweeting, “Congrats on ur new show @AlisynCamerota[:] You are amazing in every way. I [have] big shoes to fill @ffweekend.”
Indeed, Anna does! Aly has regally ruled that curvy couch thrice. As faithful fans of Fox & Friends Weekend may well remember, the Bristol Bay babe first held court on the curvy couch with the incomparable Nepalese beauty Kiran Chetry in the early-and-mid 00’s. Subsequently, Aly was “promoted” to the weekday F&F crew as newsreader: But, a wise Shine summoned her back in 2008 to captain Clayton Morris and Dave Briggs on a more certain course (than a then too callow Ainsley Earhardt could fathom). About a year later, Shine gave Aly a strange five-month Sabbatical, pairing her oft with Bill Hemmer of America’s Newsroom (during then co-host Megyn Kelly‘s maternity leave and beyond): After auditioning apparent aspirants who did not quite measure up to the role, Shine brought Aly back for yet another run.
In true form, Aly was stellar yet again. And, now, as she is about to be paired more permanently with Bill Hemmer (in a new America’s News HQ slot), Aly’s able assistant aptly asserts, “The journey continues, enjoy the ride.” But, speaking, perhaps, for her fervid F&FW fans, Aly empathized, “I’m in denial.”

I don’t know why you have to take a gratuitous shot at Ainsley, Jake. She never was the problem. It was Clayton and Dave, who acted like s pair of horny 12-year-old boys around her, something that continued when she guest hosted. Ainsley has found her niche as co-host of Fox & Friends First and she should be congratulated for that.

not going to watch for sure now if Anna, Tucker and Clayton. 3 stooges on the weekend.

Don’t think I’ll watch it either. Don’t care for Anna and Tucker doesn’t seem to be a good fit for the program. Claytoon will always be Claytoon, needs someone to keep him in line and now he’s the senior of the operation? HA! Will be nice to see Alisyn doing some harder news — F&F Weekends is too much fluff anymore.

I like Clayton he`s really grown on me over the years, never been a fan of Tucker though and frankly the guy is barely ever there.Does anyone else think that Rick Reichmuth deserved a shot at the anchoring position after Dave left?.Anna seems like a nice girl but she seems out of her depth when the topic is a serious one, she`s better at the fluff pieces.

Rick is actually excellent. I like Tucker, but he lives in DC. Anna is an air head. I can’t believe that she can last as long as Allisyn did. There were so many people who deserved that position more than she did. So sorry to hear that Anna is the one. You can tell the men of the team cannot believe some of the things that she says. Just because she has blond hair and is enthusiastic. She can’t handle deep news stories.

I would replace Tucker with Rick Reichmuth or Casey stegall, an excellent reporter who deserves an anchor position.
