Camerota Says Ciao

Aly: “I know it’s disruptive.” Today, Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Alisyn Camerota gave her F&FW fans a final farewell in “Say Goodbye to Aly” (a vid generated by now former co-anchor Clayton Morris). Apparently, acknowledging that her loyal F&FW audience may be miffed by her unexplained departure–yet another–from the weekend morning show (to the afternoon America’s News HQ with Bill Hemmer), the three-time co-host declared, “I do want to say to all of the viewers…I don’t make this move lightly….I love our dedicated fans…and I know its’ disruptive.” Unconvincingly, Aly added, “But…sometimes change is good.”*

And, Aly, sometimes it’s not. Food for thought, Shine: Future fourpeat?

Good! Now I can go back to watching. Bring back Huddy.

I`m really gonna miss Ali, she`s a class act.She really does deserve her new job though, along with Martha, she is the best female anchor at Fox.

You know Jake, this is a promotion for Aly. You should be happy for her.

This is more a comment on Fox as a whole but I’m not really a fan of blowing up the channel and moving almost EVERYONE around. I get moving the prime time line all higgledy-piggledy, but even breaking up long-time popular teams in the midday (in this case Bill & Marha)? Unless you’re gonna replace Bill with Patti Anne Brown since she’s no longer doing Fox & Friends First (per her Facebook page) and team her with Martha, in which case I’d shut up.

Bill is on with Martha from 9-11 a.m. AND Aly from 1-2 p.m.

My mistake. Thanks for the update/correction! Bill’s schedule reminds me of the days when Julie Banderas would host a couple hours of news on the weekend, take off an hour or two then do Fox Report Weekend.

The fact that Bill is doing a third hour during the day shows that Fox needs to look around for some new male anchors, Gregg Jarret can`t sub for everyone.I thinkl James Rosen and Clayton Morris deserve a shot.
