Fox & Friends co-host Gretchen Carlson‘s future at Fox News is in question according to New York Magazine. NYM reported that one of its sources said that Gretchen and FNC are “haggling over her contract terms” and revealed that Gretchen wants her own FNC show but Fox suits are not keen on the idea. However, NYM indicated that one lead said that Gretchen and FNC had “reach[ed] a short-term accord that would keep her on the curvy couch with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade until the election [b]ut after November, it’s unclear.”
Over a month earlier, the author noted Gretchen’s uncertain future at Fox & Friends in a Carpe Diem article entitled, “Gretchen’s ‘Last Summer Vacation.'” After Gretchen decided to take her one “last summer vacation before kicking into high gear for the political conventions and the election,” he noted that F&F began not only to utilize its regular talent such as Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Alisyn Camerota and Fox & Friends First co-host Ainsley Earnhardt but also to showcase significantly possible celebrity replacements, i.e., Olympian Dara Torres and former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. Yet, the writing was still not necessarily on the proverbial wall.
Now, it well may be. As Inside Cable News declared, “If there is a shred of truth to this [New York Magazine story], Carlson is on dangerous ground. Roger Ailes and FNC have a history of summarily dispatching talent whose dreams are bigger than FNC reality will tolerate (see: Chetry, Kiran).”
Wouldn’t that be ironic? Deliciously so–if Ailes finally forgave Gretchen’s nemesis, Kiran Chetry, for her “seminal sin” and welcomed the waiting beauty back into the FNC fold with that “very special opportunity.” After all, Aly is indispensable to F&F Weekend.

Dream on. Chetry will never set foot on an FNC stage as long as Ailes is in charge. They’d move Camerota over to FnF before that happened.

Hopefully, you’re wrong, ICN2: Kiran would be perfect for F&F. As to F&FW, Aly is the captain who righted that listing ship and she’s still needed to keep it on course.

Gretchen seems like she doesn’t fit in. She wants to be the only host there. I liked E.D. Hill better than her and also Alyson is excellent. Gretchen is too stiff. Chetry, not relaxed for this kind of show. She has no ability to join in and have fun.

Please for all who do not know… Chetry was already on Fox and Friends and did not do well. Do not recycle.

Spud is right. Kiran burned her bridges at Fox. Besides, they have plenty of candidates even if you don’t count Aly: Juliet, Anna and, of course, Ainsley.

I would so LOVE to see E.D. Hill come back to this position!

That has about as much chance of happening as Kiran coming back.

Today, s
how is going to knew a new female host soon, Gretchen?

No .. Kiran should come back cause I want her to.. And because It belongs to her..

Bring on Anna K., the cub replacing the cougar. no drop off with Anna, cuz’ she’s got BIG thick hot sexy gams just like Gretch, and there’s no other reason to that silly show. Also, get rid of the annoying table in front of the “curvy couch”, cuz’ it’s blocking the view.

E.D. Hil was great until she started losing her mind then got unceremoniously tossed during a big anniversary time on the show.
I say toss Gretchen as I no longer enjoy watching her on 9-out-of-10 segments and trying to out host Doocy when they share the airtime. Replace her with Huddy as I think she’s got enough in the tank to keep the others on their toes but doesn’t seem to try to usurp the pecking order. And bring back a top-of-the-hour newsreader.

The male audience loves Gretchen. She’s hottest MILF on the network. She will stay on F&F for at least the next 2 years.

Hope your right & she stays on F&F. Her Royal Thighness is indeed THE hottest & sexiest MILF on TV!!!!!

Carlson’s reign @ F&F weekday spot cannot come soon enough. Tired of her continually trying to force her will & input @ every opportunity. Makes for a very disjointed presentation. Time for a change. Alyson would suit me fine.

Give her her own show……around 1AM. Just get her off F&F so we can start to enjoy it again!
