“A very special opportunity.” Former CNN anchor Kiran Chetry made her long awaited media return Thursday night as an E! correspondent at the NYC premier of the NBC series Smash–strangely without a word to her loyal fans (via Twitter or Facebook). After promising her American Morning audience almost six months ago that she would return “soon” for ” a “very special opportunity,” the Nepalese lovely finally appeared on the red carpet at the bash at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art last Thursday night. Not surprisingly, the sexy sharp veteran news anchor interviewed Smash stars including Uma Thurman, Debra Messing, Katherine McPhee, Jack Davenport, and Angelica Houston with her characteristic ease.
Whether Kiran’s Smash appearance as an E! reporter constitutes her “very special opportunity” is not known to the author. It seems in some doubt since Kiran gave no alert to her many Facebook fans or Twitter followers about her hit.
Regardless, it was a real treat to see Kiran back in front of the camera where she belongs. It had been far too long since her AM namaskaar. Hopefully, she will stick around.
H/t to NickA130 for the “heads up,” vid link, and screen caps.
[Author’s aside: Kiran’s Fox & Friends fans may well remember another of her reports on the red carpet when she playfully “took a nap” on it.]

Great! Perfect fit for Kiran. Kiran’s leaving the news business means there will be one less biased, pro abortion liberal anchor to help in promoting the cause of the Democratic Party. Of course, E! is nothing more than a Hollywood cesspool, full of everything that goes against what is decent and traditional. But, at the end of the day, people don’t go to E! expecting anything of real value. Just the Hollywood culture, nothing else.

I think its great to see kiran on tv again. Been way too long. Hottest anchor out there. Can’t wait to see how she’s. Dressed. Always looked sexy

Kiran’s easy on the eye…wonder if she has too many demands to go somewhere else (like she reportedly did when she left fox)…but after fox and cnn, where is there? Doubt she will go to an over the air news reporting. Thought she would end up at a local affiliate in a big market.
Notice Christine’s change in look? More blush, heavy eye shadow…why?

Why is it so hard to believe that Kiran got a better offer from somewhere else? Perhaps a network gig? Maybe she got a better offer and she can’t disclose from where it came. She said numerous times she would tell when she can. Maybe she can’t tell because of a contract restriction. Is that so hard to understand? Why would she jump from a great gig like CNN? I think there is something better for her in the future. Why would she be so coy as to her next tv gig? Probably because she’s under a contract. I think she’ll be on the air soon.

When and what time is kiran chetry on e! I’ve looked and can’t find. Missed seeing her on tv. Kiran is the most gorgeous of all. She should be working as the main anchor on nbc with lauer or something like that. She was too good for cnn. Can’t wait to see her sexy legs again. I think ratings would go up more if kiran chetry wore pantyhose like she use to on fox & friends. Nice nude hose or beige and suntan. All of them look great on her.

Kiran was my reason to watch CNN every morning. I was devestated when she left as she possessed both beauty and talent and just made my entire day. I can’t wait to see her back in the spotlight where she belongs. CNNs loss as far as I am concerned.

I’ve been looking for news anchor talent ever since she left, but all the shows just leave me unimpressed. Why is it so hard to figure out that she is the standard against which all the news anchors are measured – and fail. Soledad, Romans, Camerota, Meade, Earhart – but no one’s got Kiran’s personality. It’s morning, for God’s sake, wake us up.
The proof is that only Fox’s ratings are healthy, that due to True Believers and Lotta Leg. The others are barely watchable.

Hey Hey, I am blogger as you, and was wondering, since Googles Penguin Update, my
site gets nowhere found these days :( However when i searched for Kiran Chetry Returns-to E!
| Carpe Diem your website was around the 1st page.
Want to share any advice with me? I personally use only DuckDuckGo as internet search engine since Google screwed
virtually all up. DuckDuckGo is much like Google before they chosen to favor only the large monster sites!
