“Happy Father’s Day soon to you [Clayton Morris]: Soon enough it will be Happy Father’s Day for you.”* So declared Fox & Friends colleague Dave Briggs to co-host Clayton as a beaming co-anchor Alisyn Camerota gave Clayton her rapt attention. Biting his fingernail and grinning sheepishly, Clayton confirmed, “To me. Isn’t that crazy? Yeah, I’m going to be a new dad.”
Smiling, Clayton bent down on the curvy couch, saying, ” I got a new gift actually already…. Check this out.” When he proudly displayed a baby jumper with his fave Phillies emblazoned on it, Aly cooed, “Oh, my gosh. That’s adorable.” Interjecting, Dave asked, “Now we don’t know boy or girl yet, right?” Clayton answered, “No, don’t know boy or girl so we have to get neutral colors and a lot of dots.”
In response, Dave promised, “I will get some Rockies, Red Sox gear on the way for little Morris.” Aly kiddingly added, “I’ll get some pink stuff.” Turning serious, she stated, “We’re very excited about a new member of the Fox & Friends family. Concurring, Dave exclaimed, “Congratulations!”
Interestingly, Clayton, apparently now divorced from Sara Batterson, failed to mention the mother-to-be of his child. However, yesterday Clayton’s rumored paramour Natali del Conte (who is expecting her baby in August) Tweeted, “My mom and sister are throwing me the baby shower of the century today. Big production at the Del Conte house today.” Like Clayton, Del Conte does not know if her baby is a boy or a girl according to del Conte’s response to a Twitter follower. N.B. To the author’s knowledge, neither Clayton nor del Conte has publicly confirmed rumors that Clayton is the father.

Why the glorification? He cheats on his wife and gets his mistress knocked-up? I’d be ashamed to broadcast my infidelity on national TV also.

Well, I certainly hope Mr. Morris has a wonderful Father’s Day. I was watching the US Open today and they were saying that Tiger Woods received 14 different Father’s Day cards. (10 regular ones and 4 which play music when you open them.)

I found the whole exchange to be tasteless. Matter of fact it will be some time if ever again I watch Fox and Friends Weekend. Clayton Morris is without morals and integrity and watching Dave Briggs and Alisyn Camerota contribute to Morris’ elation in the outcome of his cheating on his wife, not to mention the embarrassment that it most likely caused the former Mrs. Morris is unexcusable.

I fully concur with the sentiments expressed herein by Michelle and Teresa. I trust that my earlier comments were taken with the multi-grain of the ironic salt as was intended. Adultery whether by Morris or Woods is vile, and should not be celebrated or treated in a Virginia Cavalier manner.

Public record indicates he’s not divorced…what’s going on? How do you check your facts?

If Clayton has indeed cheated on his wife and got his mistress pregnant (and I note there have been no denials or defamation suits apparently filed) then at the very least the Fox Channel should keep a dignified silence about the whole matter.
They have obviously decided it is not matter that puts his job in jeopardy. However, when Fox and Friends co-anchors congratulate him and get excited for him on air it almost condones and legitimises his adultery.

Listening to Clayton’s podcasts he has talked about his “lady friend” for some time now. He’s not mentioned the baby or his wife, just his “lady friend”.

Small town naive girl moves to the big city, and gets knock-up by the first city-slicker she meets, how special.
