O’Reilly: Dobbs 2B “Semi-Regular”

After his abrupt but “amicable” adieu to CNN last Wednesday, Lou Dobbs, gave his first TV interview to Bill O’Reilly, FNC’s ratings king, on his eponymous show tonight. In turn, O’Reilly provided the heretofore last surviving original CNN anchor with a fair and friendly interview, asking Dobbs about immigration, the “birther” movement, future plans, etc. At the end of the interview, O’Reilly remarked, “I’d like you to come back…on a semi-regular basis. Would you be willing to do that?” Without hesitation, Dobbs declared, “It would be my honor.”*

CNN may have been happy to see him go since it reportedly ponied up $8 million to see him leave with 1 1/2 years left on his contract. However, it appears that FNC may be just as eager to start its romance with the controversial host.

Watch out, Greta!
