Former Fox & Friends Weekend co-host contemporaries, Kiran Chetry and Alisyn Camerota, faced off today in a cable morning news battle of brainy beauties. With regular F&F Gretchen Carlson having the week off, F& F guest co-host Aly went toe-to-toe, rather, leg-to-leg with Kiran, American Morning’s co-anchor. Their delightful duel augurs well for the audience this week.
With Aly and Kiiran adorned in similarly hued tops (Aly’s persimmon & Kiran’s reddish orange) and black minis, the two put on a delicious display of witty repartees, intelligent interviews, and overall excellence. Both sexy sirens exhibited their ease in front of the adoring camera and with their captivated colleagues.
Kiran v. Aly. If only this matchup could continue on a permanent basis. Neither luscious lovely is a loser and the viewer is the clear winner!

Well written, jake. You do have a way with words. Kiran administered a lethal dose of her charm, wit, intelligence and beauty this morning. She had me under her spell for the full three hours.

I think Fox is going to regret taking Alisyn off of weekday mornings. If you’ve seen the ratings for last week, Fox and Friends is not even making it to the 800,000 mark in total viewers. Now, while American Morning is only pulling in about half that amount, the all important demo is telling a different story. Fox and Friends had a mere 22,000 demo viewer advantage over American Morning on Friday. I don’t hardly recall a time when it’s been that close. Gretchen for all three hours might not have been a good decision.

Kep, I think the ratings for F&F are lower because the 6:00 AM hour is finally being taken into account. I don’t believe that was done when F&FF was on the air. Of course less people watch at 6:00 AM, and that is pulling down the average ratings for all three hours. We’ll see if trend continues.

AM beat F&F in the demo! I think this is the first time it’s happened since Kiran took over on AM. I wonder if Alisyn called Kiran to congratulate her? I hear they used to be good friends when they worked together at Fox, but I wonder about now?

Kep, Good for Gretchen, it is not like I didn’t email Dave Brown that Gretchen was Loooser. She just brings such a negative air to the show, I refuse to watch it.
