Is Aly on vacation or on a FNC “vacation”? Last Friday Aly told the Fox & Friends First audience that she was starting her vacation the next day. According to Johnny Dollar (JDP), Aly’s is taking a nine-day holiday which coincides with the possible expansion of Fox & Friends to three hours incorporating Fox & Friends First. Johnny Dollar ominously observes, “IF this report [F&F expansion] is correct (and I put a question mark on it deliberately) then Gretchen will be doing all three hours from now on.” (JDP references Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Tim Cuprisin who said Fox & Friends with Gretchen Carlson, Steve Doocy, and Brian will expand to three hours including the time spot of F&FF.)
Is FNC pulling another fast one on its loyal fans? When it canned the comely Kiran Chetry and later the trio of Page Hopkins, Kelly Wright, and Greg Kelly, it breathed nary a word to its Fox & Friends viewers. If F&FF is indeed being replaced by F&F, then what becomes of Alisyn Camerota? Will she return from vacation as a mere newsreader on F&F? Or will she be exiled with Page Hopkins to FNC’s Siberia?
If Aly goes on permanent holiday from Fox & Friends, then I very well may join her. FNC cannot continue to treat its viewers with little to no regard without consequences. Roger Ailes, you called in to F&FW Saturday: hopefully, you’ll get back with the program in general. It needs your attention desparately.

Let’s hope it’s a regular vaycay … and not the kind that Page went on …
But, since Briney was off last week … and the Dooce is somewhere on the loose today … I’ll keep my hopes up that Aly will be back and Wretchen will be in Siberia …

It was disheartening to turn on the TV a little while ago and see Claytoon there. I look forward to Monday mornings, because it usually means not having to watch those fools, but I changed the channel quickly.
It feels like the weekend clowns are slowly but surely taking over the weekday show.

According to TV Newser:
“Changes at Fox & Friends
Fox & Friends is expanding to three hours and Alisyn Camerota takes on a new role with Fox & Friends Weekend.
Beginning today, Fox & Friends First, which aired from 6-7amET and featured Camerota as one of the anchors, is being replaced by a third hour of Fox & Friends.
Camerota will be moved to the weekend, beginning July 26, where she will co-anchor with Dave Briggs and Clayton Morris. For now the newsreader role during the week, previously held by Camerota, will be handled by co-anchor Gretchen Carlson.
Camerota began her nine day vacation on Friday, as she noted on her blog. She also responded to a commenter named Marshall who asked, “Does going on a long vacation make you nervous, or do you have an iron clad contract? Don’t pull a Laurie Dhue on us, or a Page Hopkins, or a…”
“Do you know something I should be aware of Marshall?” she responded.
Where this leaves F&F Weekend fill-ins Ainsley Earhardt (who was on the couch this past weekend), or Megan Henderson, of Fox’s Dallas station, remains to be seen.”

IF this is true, then I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bozo Bois go next, because Aly can talk and think circles around them.

Alisyn Camerota starts on Fox and Friends Weekend on July 26, and the weekday show is going to 3 hours

Thanks, Boogiewoogee, for the TV Newser info on Aly.

Well—musical chairs continues! I just can’t see me watching the two dullards even if Ali is in the center seat. They’ve already lost Greg Kelly to the local NY Fox affiliate. (Their broadcast does stream on the internet if anyone cares to watch.) F&FW needs some new guys in the worst way. One of these guys is like watching paint dry and the other is like watching a child with a hyper disorder. As much as I love Ali, I don’t think I can even watch her if I have to take the two bozos. That remains to be seen. Whoever at Fox started this master plan by losing their good weekend team (Page/Kelly/Greg) needs to have their head on a chopping block—or at least lose their job.

If Fox gets rid of anyone let it be Gretchen Carlson. She has no personality and interrupts and talks too much. Alyson is great and she should be doing the ‘3’ hours. I am so sick of the new F&F format and tired of looking at Gretchen’s plump thighs. Please Fox, don’t do that to us. I want Paige back on the weekends. The three idiots they have on now have forced me to watch NBC. Fox is going down hill.

Take Gretchen off and put Ali on for the full three hours. Gretchen is awful and the guys look so uneasy with her. The fellas and Ali seem to have such a great connection. Keep Ali off the weekend, those guys never should have been brought in in the first place and she deserves better. Hey…how about putting Gretchen with them instead. What is going on with FOX? So much musical chair playing! Enough already, you are going to lose more viewers than you are going to pick up.

My wife and I love Page, Greg, and Kelly on F&FW. I understand Greg moving to a bigger local gig, but why bury Page? She was fun, pleasant, has great chemistry with anyone.
I love Aly and she might help Clayton and whats his name on the weekends. If I can’t have Page, Aly is OK, but now I still stuck with Gretchen during the week days. How about losing her and adding Page to the weekdays with Brian and Steve. I know they be a great team.
I don’t understand why FNC keeps messing with a good things.
PS Thanks for getting Ainsley off the air!!!

Maybe, with luck, Wrecthen is going on permanant vacation. Brian and Steve really looked perplexed with GC today as she TRIED to dominate the show. I can’t stand her. Put Aly in the position. Dump Carlson.
