In the wake of Tony Snow’s death, we should remember his spirit of charity and good will towards all. Some readers have disagreed with my assessment of yesterday’s memorial show of Tony. I deemed it a job well done, and it was. Could it have been done better by the A-Team or those who knew him personally? Certainly. However, I found it refreshing that the B-Team actually struck the right chord in remembering Tony and what a special person and talent that he was. We should applaud effort even if it comes from a struggling team.

You’re absolutely right.

I totally agree. The A-team can’t always be there. They deserve time off- and the B-team needs some of that experience. I think they did an admiral job. Having met Tony Snow once myself- I know being the humanitarian he was- he would also have agree. God rest his soul.

An epigram appropriate to the sad occasion of Tony’s passing:
Terrific person and family man
Original thinker and scribe
Noteworthy and notable views
Yes, a master Press Secretary;
Seeing through to the truth
Notable noteworthy views
Ohio native of notable note
Wise and genial to all whom knew him.
We’ll certainly miss you, Tony Snow.

They’re the Z-team, not the B-team. Yes, they need experience, but they’re supposed to already have that experience BEFORE being on a national news network.
It’s a shame that Tony Snow didn’t get the coverage that he deserved Sat. morning.

I agree with Cindy- call it what you want- (we all know your opinion by now) the crew did a stand up job- and it really isn’t about them- it was about Tony Snow. We will miss him.

And we all know your opinion by now. (Just which one(s) of the Z-team do you rep, and what is your cut?)
Yes, it certainly was supposed to be about Tony Snow, but these twits didn’t do the job that he deserved. They don’t shut up, and they made it quite clear that they were unprepared and unable to handle news on the fly.
Even the little bit I caught of this morning’s show highlighted what an idiot Claytoon is, the way he mangled a guest’s name and had to be corrected … by the guest.

Yes I caught the same part- and as I saw it – not the hosts fault- they all had the wrong name- blame the producer for that one! (It was what was given to them!) I just always see the glass as half full/ not half empty! Call me one of those Pollyanna’s – (who is not related nor getting a cut of any F& F’s salary!) I’ve always enjoyed the show- and continue to do so!

To each his/her own, but it boggles the mind to believe that someone who has enjoyed the show in the past could truly believe it’s on the same high level that it was before.
Funny how these bungles – which are ALWAYS someone else’s fault – don’t seem to happen to the regular weekday crew, nor previous weekenders.
