Ainsley Mocks “Real Man”

Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Ainsley Earhardt mocked Obama National Delegate candidate Mario Champion as a “real man” on this Memorial Day edition of F&F. In a segment entitled “Citizens’ Campaign: Average Joes Run For Delegate” while discussing Champion, Dave Briggs said, “Now I love this guy: [Champion] plans a ‘poetry slam’…to raise his delegate profile and money for his candidate who is Barack Obama.” Ainsley, laughing derisively, interrupted, “That’s a real man.” Dave declared, “You gotta go to the poetry slam: I, mean, how can you miss that?” Ainsley repeated, “That is a real man.” No bards for Ainsley: only “real men” need apply to win the heart of that South Carolina Southern belle.

How does this lackwit stay on the air? Are blonde hair, overly bleached teeth and gigantic implants really all that important to the suits???

Except for horny shut-in virginal males, Ainsley is unlikable and not particularly good at her job. Yet she keeps a fairly high-profile position there.

This whole bunch of doe-does make me want to throw up. How can Fox not know that they are losing viewer’s is beyond me.

Roger Ailes is still thinking that the sponsors want that 18-34yo single / lonely / horndog male w/ disposable income demographic … which would explain the constant commercials that Comcast loves to run for stuff like Extenz & Viagra …

Even seeing that Janice Dean was on, was not enough to save that sinking ship to make me want to watch it …

  4. DOC2 Says:

    IT’S NOT A SINKING SHIP!!!!!
THAT SHIP SANK !!!!!!!!!!THEIR LOOKING FOR A GROUP OF NEW VIEWER’S THAT CAN’T OR DON’T WANT TO GET UP EARLY ON THE WEEK-END. PUT THIS CREW ON RED-EYE!!!!!!!!

    Great points, guys.

I do not understand Ainsley’s appeal. Physical beauty is subjective, so, if she LOOKS appealing to you- eh, whatever, but then, I’m not Sparty (80,000 posts about how good she looks in a tight shirt). Guess I need more from the people on my NEWS channel. The thing is, once she hits those upper 30’s- she’s history. She does NOT have enough skill to keep that job (not that she does now, but age and gravity are on her side). I agree, I find her unlikable. She comes across (to me) as insincere and mediocre, at best. My problem with her is her lack of skills “reporting” on the “stories”. To me, she comes across as a dull simpleton who lacks intelligent camera zing. Megyn has it. E.D has it. Lauren Green has it. This one does not. And she replaced Page???? Then to get rid of Greg and Kelly, put those two immature, dull-witted men on- AND then add Courtney…….

I’m waiting for the plagues of locusts to arrive, for surely the apocalypse is nearing……

DOC2 – Maybe if you took off your caps lock and learned to spell, someone might actually take you seriously …

I like “Red Eye” … So, I don’t want the idiots of Courtney / Ainsley / Clayton / Briggs anywhere near that show … The worst episode of “Red Eye” that I have seen was when Courtney was on & pulled the padding out of her dress / top … That was just plain tacky …

  7. DOC2 Says:

    TIAMATSREVENGE
SORRY MY CAP LOCK IS ON, I’M A DISABLED VET WHO LOST AN ARM AND MOST OF MY VISION,SO I HAVE TROUBLE TYPING. NOW I’M LEARNING A NEW USE OF THINGS TO HELP ME.WE DO AGREE THAT THAT GROUP REALLY DOESN’T BELONG ANY WHERE,SORRY ABOUT THE RED EYE COMMENT.

Well, I didn’t see any of F & F this last weekend, except for a brief 30 minute segnment. It was really bad. I finally think I have weaned myself off Fox on Saturday and Sunday. We are remodeling our kitchen and falling plaster is better than that show.
I tried, Fox, I tried to watch you, but it just got worse and worse. The girls are absolutely inept and the guys are just immature and not even that cute.
I’ll still have to read on here to keep up with it all, though, I do love gossip.

It’s sad….. I used to really enjoy sipping my weekend coffee and starting my day with Greg, Page & Kelly. I haven’t even tuned into F&FW until the business block is on, and that’s if I have time to actually watch. Well, the Spring has arrived and the lawn is getting cut earlier in the day, perhaps by the time the weather turns cooler, the suits at Fox will have seen the error of their ways.

I agree with M. Davey, I still like to log on here and read about the weekend’s latest gaffe; thank you jakeho for providing us a place to vent!
