F&F A-Team

Thanks to the Pope coverage, Fox & Friends Weekend is in adult hands today. Alisyn Camerota is in the center spot flanked by Steve Doocy and Eric Shawn with Ainsley Earhardt reading the news. Some sanity (albeit probably passing) has returned to the set: no childish Clayton nor co-host de jour. It’s a little like watching Dukes of Hazzard after the “real” Bo and Luke returned or Dallas after Bobby woke up. All is right or, at least, better in the F&F world again. For now.

For those turning in at 9:00 ET today and wondering what happened to Fox & Friends Saturday. Because of Fox News’ extensive coverage of the pope’s visit to America, F&F Saturday was moved up an hour. I.e., it began at 6:00 ET and ended at 9:00 ET.

The other cast was great today but, why Ainsley Earhardt. Ainsley is dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, she is so dumb. I was happy to see the Pope today. But, Ainsley was dressing like a nun was pathetic. There is nothing sexy about Ainsley. All she had was her looks and she has blown that.

Her whole “Chocolate is like Cocaine for dogs … or so I hear” line was pretty pathetic … even for her …

She gives new meaning to the term “dumb blonde” … And she’s not even a natural blonde (just like Courtney) …

Bring back Donna Fiducia and Laurie Dhue …

o.k. Saturday was better. But…TODAY, April 22, is a disaster. Did the powers that be at Fox give out some sort of silly pills before air time? Gretchen has done nothing but giggle all morning. And even Alisyn has snorted a couple of times. Good Grief! Is there someone in charge of the programming that thinks “perky” is the way to go? Well, I’m thinking
“Ratings” will be the thing to go. Please stop being so darn giggly. Some things are light hearted, but nothing so far has even rated a giggle.
