Aly Cat: “Sorry about That!..It’s So Embarrassing!

June 3, 2013

Waking hubby: “Hey…what are you doing?” Oops! Tardy substitute Fox & Friends co-host Alisyn Camerota had a very bad early morning: But, on the bright side, she may have had a very good late night.

When Aly failed to appear in for an absent Gretchen Carlson on the F&F curvy couch at the start of the show, a seemingly surprised Ainsley Earhardt, Fox & Friends First co-anchor, surfaced instead on F&F after her own show F&F First, exclaiming, “Well, good morning to you! It is Monday June 3rd….I’m filling in for Gretchen [Carlson] this morning.”

Providing scant cover for his long-time FNC colleague in the show intro (as producers ran a clip of Aly and FNC meteorologist Maria Molina suggestively jamming out with Lonestar last Friday on A.S.S.), co-anchor Brian Kilmeade jested, “Last we saw Aly Camerota, she was partying with the band on our Friday summer concert series and…she’s supposed to be here….[A]ll I know is she is not here. What happened? That story we have.”

Chiming in bawdily, co-host Steve Doocy teased, “She took off with the band! Hello!”

Then, after the F&F theme had played, Ainsley revealed, “Okay, so…we have to be honest here. I’m, like, anchoring the 5 a.m. show, and they’re saying, “Ainsley, we need you to stick around and zip downstairs to Studio B because Aly has overslept this morning! Aly was filling in for Gretchen.” Elaborating, she animatedly disclosed, “So, Aly moved out to Connecticut…recently…a year ago or something….So, this morning, we were…all saying, ‘Oh, her husband [Tim Lewis is] in trouble.’ She’s gonna be like, ‘We’re moving back into the city (NYC): I can’t be this far away from work!”

Trying to come to the aid of Aly valiantly, Brian added, “Well, here, here’s the problem, Ainsley, as you know: They had a five-and-a-half marathon on Saturday and then four hours again on Sunday and then they had the After the Show Show and then some post-tapes. This woman is worn out!”

Giving slightly less succor to the alluring Aly, Steve jibed, “Oh, come on! And, then throw in that she looked like she wanted to join the band.”

Much more amenably, Ainsley interjected, “Right! And, throw in a few kids and a husband. I mean, come on!”

Smiling comically, Steve concluded, “If and when she shows up, you’ll see her…as Ainsley disappears shortly.”

Approximately, thirty minutes later, Aly finally emerged from her make-up room and sashayed to the set, laughing, “I’m ready now!…I just got off the Lonestar tour bus: But, I’m back now.” Reaching the curvy couch with pastry sops, she apologized, “Thank you, guys! Sorry about that!”

Feigning irritation, Steve queried, “Where were you?”

Chagrinned, Aly exclaimed, “My Blackberry did not go off this morning! Yes, I’m blaming my alarm clock, and my internal alarm clock malfunctioned as well!” Looking into the camera at her fans and bowing her head as their supplicant, she said, “I apologize. It’s so embarrassing!”

Turning to Aly empathetically, Ainz asked, “Isn’t is so embarrassing when you wake up and the husband says, ‘Aren’t you supposed to be at work?'”

Heartily, Aly agreed, “It’s horrible! Revealing some benign early morning bedchamber chat with her mate, Aly added, “My husband goes, ‘Hey, It’s 4:30. What are you doing?’ I’m, like, ‘4:30!’ Like my hair’s on fire, and I jumped up.” Grinning naughtily, Aly racily remarked, “And, he wasn’t happy about me going on the tour with Lonestar either! So, I’m in the doghouse!”

Lonestar love to lonely lady! From “cathouse” to “doghouse”? Regardless, Aly is in the house!

Aly in White: “I Married for Looks”

March 30, 2013

Timothy Lewis: Aly’s Ivory League Hubby. Today, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Alisyn Camerota let her acolytes know that she is still “tethered” to her Ivory League hottie even if she somehow forgot her wedding ring Wednesday on America’s Newsroom. Without identifying hubby Timothy Lewis by name, she took the opportunity to elaborate on her connubial state this morning during an F&FW story on college and marriage.

In a second-hour segment on an opining Princeton mom who encouraged female students to snag their eligible schoolmates (like her son because they would never have a better pool from which to pick), Aly smirked at this out-dated dating tip on the preeminence of getting one’s M.R.S. degree in college. Comically, co-anchor Clayton Morris asked Aly whether she as an “intelligent beautiful woman” who had “dated…some morons” and “ended up with marrying a very intelligent man” had not married the “morons” because she “felt intellectually superior” to them: In response, Aly jested, “Look, I don’t call them ‘morons,’ I call them ‘convicts’….As you know–you both [Clayton and guest co-host Kelly Wright] have met my husband–I married for looks!” [Pic of Aly, her handsome hubby Tim, and their three children.]

Elaborating, Aly exclaimed, “I could never have followed her advice:  Thank goodness, I didn’t married anybody right out of college!” Countering, Kelly interjected, “And, then was your husband from an Ivory League school?” Laughing, Aly acknowledged, “Yes….Yes, he is!” When Kelly persisted that she was giving the Princeton mother some validity because she had married an Ivy Leaguer, Aly aptly riposted, “But, but, it took me a LONG time to get there!”

[Author's aside: Unfortunately, for F&FW fans who would like to see more of Aly and her guy, their edgy "You Sexy Thing" wedding dance video has been deleted from F&F's "In the Greenroom" blog. P.S. Re "Aly in White" in the title, it refers to Aly's demure bridal-like white dress today.]

Aly in Red: Naked Again!

March 28, 2013

Rocking and ringless anew? Sexy Fox & Friends Weekend co-anchor Alisyn Camerota guest-hosted America’s Newsroom in a state of connubial dishabille yesterday. Filling in for AN co-host Martha MacCallum (who also has had her own “ringless” AM moments), Aly sported a demure fire-red dress with tanned-nude high heels to match sans wedding band.* Sitting beside her co-anchor Bill Hemmer, a lovely Aly appeared unencumbered, embodying DeBurgh’s lovely lady in red.

As long-time F&FW fans may remember, Aly interrupted her five-month abdication of her throne in 2011 to guest-host F&F weekday on July 10, 2011. While doing so, the Bohemian beauty ditched her marital band and rocked out during Loverboy’s live rendition of “Working for the Weekend” in her “‘hep’ headband and a matching wristband” atop the shoulders of an appreciative co-anchor Brian Kilmeade.** Since Carpe Diem chronicled that festive event (Aly’s Back: She’s Rocking–& Ringless), she has dutifully adorned herself in her connubial bond to hubby Tim Lewis.

“Lady in Red”: naked again! Tethered or not, Aly’s never “shine(d) so bright.”

Camerota Censored Again: Bikini Pic Post Cut

January 15, 2012

BUT, Carpe Diem found it and Aly’s photos for her fans. First, her wedding video: now, her 80’s risque pic post. Almost two months ago, Carpe Diem reported that Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Alisyn Camerota and her hubby Tim Lewis‘ edgy “You Sexy Thing” wedding dance video had been bowdlerized from F&F‘s “In the Greenroom” blog. Today, the author noticed that F&F has gone even further: now, apparently, not only did they remove that post itself (and its introductory one) but also excised an even sexier Aly photo post from her distant past.

Almost three and a half years ago (07/02/08),* during a “Back to the 80’s” segment with F&F co-hosts Brian Kilmeade, Steve Doocy, and Gretchen Carlson, then Fox & Friends news reader Aly happily displayed pics from her heady 80’s years.** After producers aired a photo of the leopard-clad lass and her family at the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, Aly penned an “80’s Photos” post which shared pics of herself and various amorous blurred-out beaux (one, two), a big-haired prom pic, and then the piece de resistance–Aly and her co-ed buds basking in the sun.

As the full-screen photo of a taut, tanned, and bikini-clad Aly appeared, she proudly proclaimed, “Now, this is what’s so important about this picture: That’s what somebody looks like before three children. This is what the abs were like.” As an appreciative Brian exclaimed, “Oh!,” a smiling Aly continued, “I hope as many– people, if you’re not watching your television right now, please come to the tv and stare at this. You’ll never see this again: I’m a figment of my former self.”

Seductively, Aly added, “Listen, if you can somehow take your eyes up from my abs, look at the Wayfarer sunglasses…and that is my Joan Jett mullet–short in the front, long in the back!” Priapically, Steve asked, “What did you call that yesterday?” Racily, Aly animatedly answered, “Business in front: party in the rear!”

As Steve and Aly laughed wickedly in unison, a bawdy Brian exclaimed, “Yeah, fantastic!” Seemingly somewhat jealous, Gretchen acerbically chuckled, “I have a feeling that little get-together wasn’t very innocent.”

Unabashedly, Aly replied, “Uh, none of those that we just saw. And, I’m amazed that they’re…covering the face[s] of the guilty in some of these even though I did not tell them to: Somehow, our producers instinctively knew.” In a final riposte, Steve jested, “Some people call those snap shots of the ‘guilty': others call them evidence. And, that’s why we’ve fuzzed people out.”

Unfortunately, F&FW fans, Steve may not have been “jesting” after all. Seemingly, FNC has gone one step further “for Aly”: Not only have they covered “the face of the ‘guilty'” but they have expunged the evidence altogether.

Sexy “Camerota CENSORED” again: But, this time, did Aly “tell them to”?

“You Sexy Thing”: Camerota CENSORED

November 6, 2011

Aly’s “sextacy“: Too hot for today’s F&FW? Yesterday, Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Alisyn Camerota reminded her long-time fans why they first fell in love with her. Probably, not unlike the very reason that her hubby Tim Lewis did.

During an F&FW “Best Father-Daughter Wedding Dance Ever?” segment Saturday, producers showed Ashley Richmond and her father David Sparks perform their fabulously fun wedding dance (which has garnered over a million views). During the course of the interview with the Internet sensations, an obviously impressed Aly revealed, “Now, see, I must confess, my husband and I did the same thing ten years ago when we got married. We did a funny first dance and we surprised the whole crowd. And, it was great.”*

And, indeed it was–if the universal response of the readers of Aly’s “In the Green Room” blog wedding dance post (December 5, 2007) were to be believed. However, unfortunately, for the F&FW viewers who want to judge for themselves, Fox News has deleted the actual dance footage. Nevertheless, the rest of the post and the comments remain.

Happily, Aly has provided some clues to her wanton wedding dance in an earlier post that day. She wrote, “‘You Sexy Thing’ by Hot Chocolate…was the song we first dance[d] to at our wedding.” She quipped, “As I write, my wedding video is in the edit room and we’re trying to find some creative way to protect Tim’s reputation (clearly we gave up on mine long ago).”

Unfortunately, apparently, Fox News has now retrogressively redacted the “offensive” clip. In doing so, it seems to have transgressed from editing to bowdlerizing the content of Fox & Friends Weekends. For viewers of the show since its inception, this self-censorship is especially abhorrent.

A disgraceful surrender to Orwellian political correctness? Or, merely an unfortunate anomaly? For some perspective, F&FW fans may well want to remember Jenny McCarthy’s classic opening that regularly made even Juliet Huddy blush.

F&FW fans who want to see Aly and Tim’s “You Sexy Thing” wedding video available, as Neil Cavuto might say, “DEMAND IT!”

Halloween Treat: Aly’s Thong and Sext?

October 22, 2011

Clayton wants to know. Sexy Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Alisyn Camerota “discovered” how to rouse her lucky hubby anew this morning. During a “cheater-meter” segment today, relationship expert Dr. Karen Rushkin (author of Dr. Karen’s Marriage Manual), told Aly and her co-anchors Dave Briggs and Clayton Morris that traveling spouses were in a particular danger to stray: in response, Aly exclaimed, “My husband does that all the time. He travels all the time in his work.” Suggestively, she added, “As the dutiful wife, what am I supposed to do?”

In reply, Dr. Karen instructed, “Send a little sexy text.” No prude, Aly enthusiastically exclaimed, “That’s a good idea!” Interposing himself, Clayton unconvincingly pleaded, “Don’t send me that by mistake.”

Grinning puckishly, Dave interjected that Aly might want to ditch her usual sweats. When Aly turned to the doctor for her advice, Dr. Karen asked, “Are they big sweats? Is there a thong under those sweats?” Animatedly accepting her amorous hint, Aly enthused, “That’s a good idea!”

Subsequently, as the segment concluded with Aly and her co-hosts off camera, a naughty Clayton could be heard saying, “I want to find the answer to that question.” Apparently, Aly’s hubby is not the only one interested in Aly’s saucy texts and sexy lingerie. If Clayton and Aly’s other F&FW fans are lucky, maybe, she’ll share.

Probably not. But, Aly did ask her F&FW viewers for suggestions on what she should dress up for this Halloween. Perhaps, the Bristol Bay babe could be persuaded to dress up  as one of your FNC colleagues, Courtney Friel or Kimberly Guilfoyle, in their fun and frisky days: Remember, Courtney was a former Maxim bikini model and Kimberly was a Victoria’s Secret lingerie model!

Aly’s Back: She’s Rocking–& Ringless!

June 10, 2011

But, still “working for the [F&F] weekend”? After an unexplained two-month hiatus from her weekend show Fox & Friends Weekend, co-host Alisyn Camerota appeared today as guest co-anchor on F&F, the weekday version (to the hopeful elation of her concerned fans). As the show started to strains of Loverboy’s 1981 hit “Everybody’s Working for the Weekend” (with the cam showing the still-empty “All-American Summer” stage), Aly could be heard saying, “We’re rocking out. This is the perfect song for a Friday, obviously: It’s the battle cry for the weekend!” Indeed, for both Aly and her acolytes today.

When the F&F cameraperson panned to the curvy couch to start the show, there sat Aly betwixt co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. Looking as alluring as ever–albeit more demurely attired in a crew-necked, sleeveless, over-the-knee royal blue dress, Aly held both her hands high atop her knee initially. However, suddenly, she subtly shifted her left hand lower in her lap almost subconsciously–as if she had something to hide.

Perhaps, for a moment, she had forgotten the lesson that she should have learned from Clayton about two years ago that such attempts are usually futile. Nevertheless, as F&F progressed, Aly seemed to lose her shyness and give her left hand freer and freer rein. Before the end of the show, F&F’s Lady Godiva was ready to show her “Peeping Toms” that she was unashamed and to offer them full views of her nakedness–at least, that of her ring finger. Stripped of her erstwhile ever-present wedding band, Aly was ready to be the bohemian free spirit of the ’80’s again by the conclusion of F&F.

As F&F segued from the main part of the show to its “All-American Summer” concert, Aly donned a “hep” headband and a matching wristband.* When Loverboy later took the stage and began to perform their raucous anthem, “Working for the Weekend” for Aly, her fellow F&F co-hosts, and the audience, Brian playfully placed Aly onto his right shoulder.*** Then, as Steve dutifully provided his shoulder as well to Aly, the real queen of F&F started to sway sensually atop her boys with a sexily hiked skirt and a saucy, sassy smile.

Subsequently, in the final segment, the three co-hosts anticlimactically discussed their previous revelry on stage with their audience. Steve explained, “Us [sic] hoisting Alisyn up on our shoulders was Brian’s idea….Suddenly, he’s going, ‘Let’s break apart and see what happens.” Grinning, Brian replied, “No, I said, ‘Let’s get her [inaudible] and bounce her around a little.” As Aly shook her head and smiled, Loverboy lead singer Mike Reno leaned in toward Aly and amorously remarked, “It looked good to me!”***

No doubt, Mike. And, as for “everybody’s [still] working for the weekend”? Exactly, especially, if it includes Aly anew–with or without her ring.

Clayton: “Help Me Out”

May 26, 2010

Fox & Friends Weekend co-hosts Dave Briggs and Alisyn Camerota tried to do just that during a divorce segment Saturday. As the three co-anchors, Dave, Aly, and Clayton Morris discussed an DailyBeast.com article about predictors of divorce, Dave and Aly took the lead. As they went through various divorce risk factors (e.g., both spouses’ respective parents have divorced and remarried, and/or have twins or triplet, only one spouse smoking, etc.) both Dave and Aly talked about their personal marriages. Dave revealed that both he and his wife Brandi’s respective parents had been divorced and had remarried but did not argue about money. Likewise, Aly disclosed that she and her husband Tim also both had parents who had divorced and remarried and that they furthermore have twins. However, a ringless Clayton remained conspicuously silent about his own marriage to Sara and merely kidded about an old college girlfriend who smoked.

As the segment ended, Dave joked, “Both your parents divorced, remarried, you [Aly] have twins. Tim, I’m sorry: retain a lawyer, my friend, because the two of you are in deep trouble!”* Aly replied, “Oh, no, no. There is good news and we’ll show that later. There is good news for marriages but you’ll have to stick around for that.” Clayton smiled, raised his eye brows, and interjected, “Can’t wait for that. Help me out.”

Indeed, Dave and Aly already had.

Clayton’s “Hot Wife” Disappears

August 8, 2009

Where was Sara Morris today? Has Clayton’s “hot wife” ensconced herself in Dick Cheney’s bunker? When Clayton’s co-hosts Dave Briggs and Alisyn Camerota discussed their spouses* during a Fox & Friends Weekend “Love & Marriage” story, Clayton stayed strangely silent about his sweetie.

As Dave, Aly, and Clayton conversed about the trend of men taking their wives’ surnames, they began to share their own accounts. Dave revealed that his wife Brandi Moreland took his last name but kept her surname legally. When Dave queried, “You, Clayton?”, Clayton, deftly deflected his question by asking of Aly, “What about Tim?”

Aly explained, “Well, Camerota is my maiden name, and I have kept it but not for any sort of feminist thing. It’s because it’s my last grasp at my Italian ethnicity….Tim is not Italian. Had I married an Italian guy I would have taken his name but I cling to Camerota because it’s so diluted, the bloodlines.”

Then when Clayton’s turn arrived again, he jested, “No, I was going to take the last name of Paris Hilton–is my wife…So my name would have been Clayton Hilton but, you know, it didn’t happen.”

Almost a year to the day when Clayton proudly displayed his shark-snagging, bikini-clad beloved on F&FW without her permission, Clayton hid her away today. Seemingly, Sara has had a word with him.
