Kooiman’s Kinky “White Wedding”

Anna the next F&F spring bride-to-be? FNC correspondent Anna Kooiman subtly announced today that she is getting married (at least, if the past two years of Fox & Friends spring wedding exercise segments are a precedent). In her first promo of her “Wedding Workout! How to Slim Down for the Big Day” racy couples fitness segment, Anna excitedly did jumping jacks with her white veil and faux marital garb to the tune of Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”: Off camera, F&F co-host Brian Kilmeade teased, “I think one is getting married: I think they’re all getting married, including Kooiman.”*

Later, when F&F co-anchor Alisyn Camerota introduced F&F‘s “Wedding Workout!” segment in the second hour, a smiling Anna appeared on camera in her ivory attire animatedly doing jumping jacks new–but this time with a suggestive ebony blindfold over her eyes.** Pulling it up momentarily, Anna remarked, “A couple that works out together stays together. And, that’s the idea behind…a brand new wedding season class at New York Sports Club.” Turning to her musclebound, blindfolded partner dressed all in black, she said, “This is my hubby….As if her real man were watching, she reassuringly declared, “He’s my stand-in hubby, just for the day!” [Italics added for emphasis.]

Subsequently, she had her “man of the moment” massage her shoulders as she interviewed the NY Sports Club instructors, asking them the name of their class: When the lady instructor responded “Tough Love,” Anna prompted her to give the rest of the risque rubric, “Bars, bands, and blindfolds.” Pulling her blindfold back over her eyes seductively, Anna racily remarked, “And, blindfolds. We are channeling Fifty Shades of Grey¬†[an erotic romance thriller].” Subsequently, she did some “trust squats” blindfolded back-to-back with her partner and some bondage exercises (albeit free of the large rubber band loosely binding the ankles of some of the others).

When Anna began to wrap her report and segue back to the three F&F co-anchors, Steve Doocy randily queried, “What does the blindfold do?” Blushing, a grinning Anna answered, “This is what’s building the trust.” As Aly arched her eyebrows knowingly and echoed “the trust,” Ann continued, “I think because of the popularity of Fifty Shades of Grey, they are trying to…capitalize on that a bit.”

As Anna’s segment concluded, Aly intoned, “That’s great. Anna, I love that you turned to your partner like ‘married only for the day,’ ‘only for right now’ you had to tell him.” Hugging her hunk du jour in response, Ann chuckled, “Just for the day. Great, though!” Interjecting bawdily, Brian jested, “Right. Because he was hoping for the honeymoon!” As Steve smiled and Aly laughed, Anna tersely replied, “Yeah, yeah.”

“Yeah, yeah, Brian.” Anna probably already has her boy toy in tow if F&F‘s past is a prelude to her future. Almost two years ago (June 5, 2011), F&FW guest co-host Molly Line did a Nikki Fitness segment with “brides” in white entitled, “Bridal Boot Camp: Tips to get in shape for the big day”: Four days later on F&F weekday, she proudly proclaimed that she was betrothed and happily displayed her new engagement ring. Last year (June 14, 2012), Ainsley did her own Nikki Fitness segment titled, “Wedding Workout: Exercises to Get You Ready for the Big Day” in white connubial dress: Two weeks to the day later, Ainz was sporting her own connubial bling but waited until another month and half to announce, “Yes, I’m getting married.”

This year, Anna followed with her saucier version of the annual spring “white wedding” exercise segment: Today, it sounded as if Anna may have her own marital band in full view. Anna’s foot may not have fit into Cinderella’s glass slipper two days ago: But, she appears to have her real Prince at the ready.

Anna Koiman is an airhead. That segment was an insult to everyone’s intelligence. Almost the stupidest segment I have seen in 50 years.

  2. Jake Says:

Kooiman is clearly the new golden girl at Fox, I suspect they see her as a possible replacement for Gretchen.Personally I find her a bit bland and unremarkable, but she is an attractive blonde , two prerequisites you need to thrive at Fox.

  3. motownman Says:

Anna is what FNC wanted Courtney Friel to be.

  4. Matt Says:

Anna is certainly more accomplished than Courtney Friel,(not hard),but there`s nothing special about her, she`s just another foxified blonde.

  5. Daniel Says:

Personally I`d like to see more of Julie Banderas.Still don`t know why they moved her off the Fox report and her anchoring role with Greg Jarrett, those two had great chemistry.Maybe if she dyed her hair blonde………….

  6. gigglebox Says:

Have you also noticed that all of the women on fox are now wearing solid colored, low cut dresses…no jackets allowed… with very high pumps? The female guests must have received a memo, too. Yes, Anna Koimen is smarter than Courtney Friel who was gorgeous but it was hilarious watching the faces of the anchors who also could not believe how air-headed she was. Also, I don’t understand juliet huddy’s role especially on o’reilly. What does she add exactly? She is kind of old news to me.

My dog is smarter than Courtney Friel. And I don’t have a dog.

  8. Ethan Says:

Roger Ailes made a rare misstep when he hired Courtney, usually the women at Fox have both beauty AND brains.Unfortunately Courtney had only one of those things.I think they tried and tried with her but she just didn`t improve, if anything she got worse. They seem to be grooming Maria Molina for a bigger role too.

  9. Dina Says:

I wonder if Fox would ever hire a woman who wasn`t,god forbid, attractive?.Oh, I`ve just remembered Greta.

  10. gigglebox Says:

I love Greta. Whose place did maria molina take? She seems to be the omnipresent weatherforecaster now.

  11. gigglebox Says:

oh, also, they hire these female lawyers whose only quality is that they have a law degree from no-name law schools, but they happen to be good-looking. I cannot stand the one that sean hannity has on all the time…tamara holder. Who cares what she thinks? Fox is tiresome in the way that they always have to have two sides to everything. At least hannity and colmes is now just hannity.

  12. frannie Says:

Maria Molina replaced Domenica Davis, who may now do local weather in NYC….
Anna Kooiman is exactly what Fox wanted Courtney to be. She is a good sport, she is smart and attractive. She can also hold her own on the curvy couch. Rather see her than those annoying Heathers.. nauert and childers…

  13. Daniel Says:

Agree about the Heathers, Childers in particular.Yet another nasally blonde. Why on earth would they replace Julie Banderas with her.She also looks like Morgan Fairchild to the point of distraction, it`s all I can think about when I see her.

  14. Valentina Says:

Ha.It`s been driving me crazy trying to think who she reminds me of.Morgan Fairchild!.

  15. Anonymous Says:

I agree bring back Julie Banderas! Seems like ever since she had her first kid they’ve taken her off the air. Almost like they are punishing her for daring to have children. They didn’t to that with Megyn Kelly.

  16. gigglebox Says:

I agree about Heather Childress too. She is annoying to me. I liked Julie Banderas. I guess that her hair was not blonde enough.

  17. cathy807 Says:

Heather Childers is growing on me … like others thought her a bit nasally but she shows some quick witted responses in her interviews. Needs to update her hair style though…. the long blonde locks are more for the young ingenue rather than a sophisticated mature woman. Would like to see more of Julie Banderas .. her slightly ascerbic delivery is missed.

And for once Ainsley, as a roving reporter at the Cleveland site is doing a not half bad job… and this is from a viewer who for years has thought her an attractive airhead.

  18. David Says:

Off screen, Anna Kooiman is athletic. She was a runner in college, and has a passion for fitness. Fox News seems to be doing fitness segments in the morning that utilize this aspect of her personality.

  19. David Says:

I do notice there are quite a few blondes on Fox News, and some you can tell it’s a color. Most of the girls wear dresses with higher necklines, but I imagine the studio is cold, so why don’t they wear something to cover their sleeves? I do notice sometimes the girls wear dresses with sleeves.

There was one day though I couldn’t help noticing (I’m not dead) that Heather Childers was wearing a dress that was more suited for a nightclub – it was a little low cut, and I thought her dress was inappropriate for a work environment.

I’m not a fan of Juliet Huddy either, and I do miss Julie Banderas. Banderas was doing some weekends, but I think she wanted to spend more time with her kids. I’ve noticed Janice Deen has been seen less doing the weather on Thursdays and Fridays, and this may be because she wanted to spend more time with her two young children. Maria Molina now has the weather Monday through Friday on Fox and Friends.

Getting back to the blondes, I prefer a lady with a more natural hair color. Harris Faulkner, Lauren Simonetti, Diana Macedo, Patty Ann Browne, Maria Molina, and Nicole Pettalides are definitely not blonde and keep their natural color.

By the way, about law schools, Megyn Kelly went to Albany Law School in New York, which has a good reputation.

  20. gigglebox Says:

Albany Law School isn’t well regarded actually, but Megyn knows her stuff.

  21. Anonymous Says:

Julie Banderas had her airtime drastically reduced because the camera slipped one day and you could see she had gained about 600lbs. from the waist down.
