American Morning co-host Kiran Chetry rode Joe the Plumber without mercy Friday. While her co-anchor John Roberts and CNN correspondent Christine Romans called him “America’s most famous plumber” and “the most famous name in politics” respectively, Kiran relentlessly ragged on Joe. Among her numerous swipes, Kiran ad libbed, “If you [Joe] really are a plumber” (during a “Recession Proof Jobs” segment with Christine Romans), “Joe, the almost plumber” (during a SNL segment promo), and “Joe the Not So Plumber” (during another SNL segment promo).
Kiran’s comments seemed dissonant with her usual kind and affirming remarks. Maybe, this harsh political season has finally prevailed upon the gracious, comely Kiran Chetry. Or, perhaps, untoward voices whispered nefarious utterances in her ear for her to echo. Whatever the case may be, let us hope that another day finds her renewed and unblemished by partisan politics.

Or maybe she’s just a typical miserable left-wing harpie.
“Usual kind and affirming remarks”? At Fox, she was a stuck-up b***** and acted like the head cheerleader who made it obvious that she didn’t like having to associate with certain people there.

I’m glad you noticed, Jake. She was being downright nasty in her remarks about “Joe the Plumber”. It finally took conservative radio host Larry Elder to shoot her down. I think she owes Joe and her viewers an apology.
And what’s with the relentless SNL coverage? They should just name Alina Cho as CNN’s Senior Saturday Night Live correspondent.

Someone please explain the left’s infatuation with SNL to me. I do not get it.
This is a washed up, hippy-dippy, irrelevant show from the 1970’s. It was funny back in the day (Belushi and company, some spatterings of brilliant folks throughout the years, too), but good grief. This is a national election, with tough times that demand capable people in office. I do not need nor want ANYONE that thinks what happens on SNL is REAL to be telling me who needs to be in office. I get that the show is satire, and sometimes it’s humorous. But the way that reporters talk about whats-her-name doing Gov Palin- that is INSANE. It’s an old, late-night tv comedy show, not the Sate Dept briefing, folks. Get a grip.
UGH. So like high school, it’s not even funny…..

Congrats, Kiran. You have aligned yourself with the candidate who promises to support and uphold the most barbaric and inhumane of abortion procedures.
But, if he gets a little more for you in that 401k, who cares, right? Oh, I hate to tell you, but since you make more than $250,000, some of that wealth that Obama has been talking about spreading around will be yours!!!!! Perhaps you didn’t do enough research to even know that, and maybe you don’t even care. Oh, I know, it’s that “thrill up the leg” feeling again.

Don’t watch Kiran anymore, because I’m just one of those brainwashed Fox groupies. The news is still reporting him as if he did something wrong in asking a question. They have talked about his credit and his personal life and his not having a license. Maybe he’s training and waiting for some sort of master’s license or something. Kiran should be ashamed.
I don’t know what SNL had to do with this, because I don’t watch it, but even the older people on Fox nearly wet themselves laughing at the insanity of it.
It’s one thing to watch it in your home and talk about it in the coffee room, but to let it take up time on a show, shows no originality in programming.
I hope Kiran will show that she’s a “news person” and not a follower of the rest of the opinionated press.
Maybe someone can tell me this. Why does everyone portray Michelle Obama as a brilliant scholar and Sarah Palin as a ditz? This seems wrong.
I’d really like an answer to this. The Obama folks that make comments on websites, call everyone on the right “stupid” and use the “F” work incessantly. And, they praise M.Obama, but always talk about Sarah Palin’s wardrobe and even make comments about her carrying her children with her. I would think that the more people that take their children with them, the better off the world would be.
